Ok wow they actually did go through with the supply depot nerf and actually went farther and nerfed bio with the medi nerf. with the supply depot nerf, we cant counter 6 pool. for some reason, lings in sc2 are waaaaay better against scv's than lings in sc1 were. and the bio nerf? i dont get, bio was already weak late game. oh well, I was already planning on switching to toss if they did the supply nerf, now i will for sure. void rays, i dont care about, im just gonna play macro and get out 5 colossus and shit all over terrans lol. But i think alot of terrans will be switching race with me, so well see. might just use them to shit all over all the new zerg players haha

That is a huge vs armour nerf for the voidrays. I guess sniping main buildings wont be so easy now, but now they will be really bad at their original purpose, which was to kill capital ships.

Roach buff will reduce the number of viable builds pvz. Not sure if thats good or bad yet.

Reaper nerf will mean I dont get to have nearly as much fun when I roll terran in team games. It was a necessary nerf though.

I'm not sure how I feel about not being able to feedback thors and corruptors. I do like that they fixed the issue with feedbacking pdd though.

It will be really interesting to see how this patch changes the game.

Void rays actually might be a bit more useful to support your army now, because they do A LOT more damage in Stage I. 5 more damage vs armored is quite significant.

Really, now voids are useful before they hit Stage II, and Stage II is less, OMG!11!! I HARDLY KNEW YE, HATCHERY!!!1!!1!

Will be interested t see how this plays out.

While I dont have any problem with lot of these changes.
The change to have supply depot require for a Barrack is fucking STUPID. I myself never do any cheese with Terran but by this change, Terran will have a very hard time defending cheese and also lost a lot of the surprise factor

Hmm... Interesting patch. I really just don't like how they decided reapers needed to die altogether as if it was some sort of impossible to defend strategy. Since the first time increase, I've seen a decline in mass reapers so I don't know what prompted them to nerf them even more by adding a factory tech requirement. They lowered speed cost from 100/100 to make reapers used more and now they don't want the reaper to be used at all. THey should just admit that making it 50/50 was a mistake and put it back to 100/100 without this stupid factory requirement...

Cooldown isn't a new mechanic. Storm has a 2 second cooldown for example. Not to mention build stuff..

P has no issues lategame..honestly yes, if you let the T get mass cattlebruisers you kinda deserve to die. And remember they got nerfed too, stalkers should do OK against them.

VR speed shouldn't matter that much, they can still run from vikings. Damage nerf seems icky but who knows, they did get a decent boost pre-charge. Maybe they're viable support units? Too early to say for sure imo.

There was a very strong VR push against Terran but I don't think that alone would be enough reasons to nerf VRs. T has tons of pushes you can't really hold of if you don't scout them.

Yes, almost every 3v3 nowadays has a protoss massing Voidrays. It's kinda annoying to deal with (but doable), but I guess the n00bs got fed up with it.

Oh. That makes me sad.

I knew Blizzard was balancing around 2v2s and 3v3s (even though I don't agree with that), but I've got this awful feeling that they're gutting the VR for 1v1 play. Stargate/VR harass openings against Terran are looking a little less viable now -- it seems like Protoss is going to just have to embrace going robo against Terran no matter what for awhile.
