Loaning out a 20 year old talent from a big club is a bad decision for a club like Dortmund. For clubs like Augsburg or Hannover it would be awesome. But Dortmund should really plan long-term... Either Januzaj sucks and he will be waste of money for BVB or he will own and ManUtd will take him back Isn't Dortmund currently betting heavily on their youth players? So maybe they have some awesome 17-y.o. talents that could break through next year, but it's just too early now. Alternatively, the financial situation might be tricky right now and they cannot afford to spend big on buying a player as talented as Januzaj. I am personally not too clued up on the situation, but the mere idea of renting a player to tide you over for a year is not bad, especially for a player of that potential.
Our youth team is really stacked at the moment. But I think Januzaj was just a last minute replacement because the Yarmolenko-transfer didn't work out and we let Großkreutz and possibly Kuba go.

De Gea out Navas in and £29million pretty good deal imo

Navas AND 29m ?
I dont like Navas (he is far better than romero tho) but thats a deal noone should pass
|
Madrid was so stolen in that deal, Florentino is a terrible president lol. MUtd got a worldclass goalkeeper like Navas and a lot of money, and furthermore it was De Gea last year contract.

Florentino gave 100M for Bale, 30+ for Danilo and Illaramendi. So it's not that hard to imagine that he would spend 40 on De Gea. Perez was just desperate. First he chased away the club legend and then he failed to find a worthy replacement in time. The fans already didn't like him, even before treating Casillas like a random useless employee, so De Gea is his saving grace.

Fans liked Navas. All the stadium chanted his name this weekend after he saved a panalty kick in addition to a incredible save before.
Only Florentino and "Marca" newspaper wanted De Gea. Most of R.Madrid fans liked Navas and didn't think that the deal was neccesary (I think Madrid should have tried to buy a forward for rotate Benzema or for injuries)

Kuba was such loyal player and now he gets this? This guy really should have retired in Dortmund. What a terrible decision.

Right now, probably. But all know that Navas can't replace Casillas. De Gea is the perfect replacement, not as a player, but as a personality.
You are right about the forward...

Yeah De Gea will be Casillas 2.0 in 10 years time when he is captain of the club etc. But i do too think they are a striker light, get Cavani in a Madrid shirt and they win everything.
|
Why RM would want Cavani when they have better forward in Jese?

Really? You rate Jese that high? I rate Cavani as top 5 striker in the world, Jese still struggle to break through ?

Does Cavani track back enough to work in Real? I am not so sure...

In all likelihood Kuba wanted to be a starter and Tuchel couldn't guarantee that Yes Kuba is captain of the polish national team and what he needs after the injury are matches to play and get back to his best. I would think that out of respect for Kuba Tuchel was honest enough to tell him that he won't be anywhere near the starting 11 for months and they agreed on that deal. It's also only a loan and I bet that without further injuries Kuba will come back in 10 months. Pretty sure everybody wants him to retire in Dortmund one day. He's a legend of the last decade just like Dede and Kehl before. (one source says Fiorentina might have the option to buy Kuba. That would of course mean that Dortmund has no more influence.)

LOLOLOL apparently the contract didn't arrive in time.

But guess what? There is no trainer in the world who has a 100% perfect record with every club he was part in Pep, so far Lost in the DFB Cup, got smashed in CL. That is far from a perfect record... Reached final in DFB cup, reached semi-final in CL. Won the league. Not bad at all. Your personal vendetta against one of the best coaches at the moment is pretty damn annoying. We know alright? You do not like Pep Guardiola. No need to bring it up every second page. DFB Cup Final was Wolfsburg vs Dortmund... And I didn't bring up Pep... Chill, dude.
Actually the logic fail started much earlier. You are saying no manager has a 100 percent record. That is correct. No one does. But no one wants LVG to have a 100 percent record and win everythin Or even make the team playing like its worth watching. Both of which are abstract failures.
I dont think its all his fault. But a large part of it is.
They just want to win "SOMETHING" so in that respect Pep and Mou have perfect records because they win things wherever they go ever since they started in the top tiers.
In short, Mou and Pep have been successful at every club they have gone too (Pep is slightly stronger in the efficiency department but he has also coached alot less so thats not a knock on Mou)
LVG doesnt really even fall close to this bracket I am afraid.

Curious, on what basis is Cavani a top 5 striker? He wouldnt even make a top 10 in my list.
