holy cow coan/phillipi is a brutal program. I'm on week 2 and already I feel like dying... need to eat way more food if I want to keep this up.

i eat a lot of eggs, but for me it's a lot easier to ingest protein via milk. after a few (3~4 eggs in short succession) it just feels like i'm going to gag if i eat another egg. i think it's just that the yolk proteiny flavor is too strong. maybe there's a better way to prepare them? right now i usually scramble them, though i think i might be able to eat a few more if they're hardboiled
i have a problem where i feel sick if i eat too much. after 500~600 calories in a meal (or too much protein), i feel like i can't take another bite or i'm going to puke. this is probably why i've always been so skinny, 2.5 meals a day plus a bit of snacking and i was probably eating 1300~1700 calories a day back in high school. i solved this over the summer by buying lactose free whole milk and drinking that all day, but now that i'm back at school i don't have easy access to a car
I'm allergic to milk too TT
If you're not allergic to rice.... cram down 3 cups with every meal. Easy extra 700 kcals per meal (I usually only do maybe lunch and dinner).
That's what I'm doing for the kcals right now.
You pretty much just eat rice until you feel physically sick after every meal. It's a weird feeling
Done it for about a week now, my stomach capacity has definitely increased
haha i guess i'll give it a try i don't have a rice maker here so i guess i'll be eating a lot of microwave rice
or just buy a small rice cooker. they really arent that expensive. goto like target or walmart.
After deadlifting my right glute always feels way more tired than the left. I am worried of an imbalance in my legs, is there any fix to this? I suppose I could do more lunges or split squats.

Top masters terran here
was B on iccup before sc2 beta.
Dont play as much as i used to but still manage to improve by watching streams and replays instead of grinding the ladder like a nitwit. I pretty much only ladder when i have bonus points to get rid of
And also my wrists and elbows don't really like being abused for 10 hours a day which is also a reason why ive decided to cut back on the laddering and dedicating more time to the gym
Anyway my goal for 2012 is to get back strenght-wise to where i was when i was a competative weightlifter 6-7 years ago, gain about 5-8 kg of bodyweight while still maintaining a nice sixpack :D

Bodyweight strength training to gain the muscle, yo
Did deadlift today, despite the fact that my back was still hurting. I completed the sets, but terrible form, was unable to arch my back properly due to the pain. It's time I slowed down I think, before I hurt myself for real. Besides, cheating on your form leaves you feeling like you cheated afterwards.
Did chinups though. 4 reps of 2 sets at BW of 100kg, proper form. New PR. Go me!
Man, flexibility. I really need to make a sort of general plan. I've been doign misc physical therapy for hamstrings, but am not making much progress. From really terrible, to terrible in like 4 months. I think I need some sort of stretch progression to do along with SS.

PM your email and I'll mail you a great book on moblity that might help you.
Today was by far the hardest squatting session ever. Before starting last set my legs where fucking numb (obv did it anyway :d) and after I was done my legs and lower back ached so badly I had to lie in the bench for 20 mins. I tried walking around and it was fucking painful, so had to lay more rofl. After warming up for bench press and warming up sets pain slowly dissapeared and completed my session ezpz. I couldn't get the 110x2 though , mb If I skipped the 105x2 set, but my strength is kinda back. I guess I'm benching a bit less in training cause I'm always using legal pause now (1sec pause makes a lot of difference)
sweeet. finally at a weight for power clean that is easy enough that i can do it and focus on form, but just hard enough that I really have to try and can feel the form helping. nothing feels more boss than a really well executed powerclean.
After posting about my deadlift grip dilemma a few days ago I switched to mix grip and used chalk( well not chalk since it's not allowed in my gym -.- but I sneaked an ecoball in) and it felt completely different It felt like I could instantly add 20kg more to my current PR.

What exactly does an ecoball do? Only thing I get when I look around is something you either put in the toilet or the washing machine.
