Usual rules apply: No balance whining, caster/player bashing etc. Let's have fun! |

To be fair it's kinda hard to NOT let speedivacs into your base in their current state. You need some serious firepower to take them down during the brief period you'll have the opportunity to shoot at them.

Blink = way better tech? Vs bio T? Vs a Kespa T?

From what I've seen you can do a few different builds but it's still not particularly good in the match up if P knows what they are playing against. There's a reason most KR pros are still playing bio. Don't spread misinformation. There's plenty of mech builds you can do now. KR pros are sticking with Bio as it's all they've played for 3 years. They've had no time to practice mech properly. Plenty of Koreans played HotS for a while and tried to make it work. It just sucked and lack of experience has nothing to do with it.

I dont understand why you would ever have NO mothership core after ~5 minutes or something

What's a quick recap of G1? I chose to eat at the wrong moment apparently.

Koreans and high level pros tend to stick with bio for now. Immortals are still very good against anything mech aside from hellbats, GoOdy at the moment is tending to stick with bio as well. It's not that it's not viable it's just not as good as bio at the moment. Not only Immortals, but Toss air is pretty amazing against it.

Still though, Blizzard shouldn't touch balance for at least a month, preferably two. It might be, but that game wasn't the greatest indication of that.
Yeah, but there are no risks to dropping. Huk had to way over make Stalkers to defend and even then he only got a couple medivacs after a dozen Stalkers were out and Blink was done.

You're never in a "very good spot" when you have that many stalkers vs bio...

Collosi work so much better if you're being aggressive.
You don't go offensive, you defend and win.

That's why it floated away from 6 stalkers while holding a 40 supply lead. Tech and production mean shit if you don't have units.

The MSC's cannon spell wouldn't have made any difference against all that bio. It only has the DPS of a photon cannon. The bio could ignore it and kill tech/probes, or focus the nexus. It would, what you do is let it focus the medivacs and it will be a much easier clean-up with warp-ins.

HuK makes no mothership core, Bogus drops two medivacs worth of units in his main while his army is across the map doing a 2 base all in. All in gets deflected easily and HuK lost his base.

This forum's reaction to HuK losing is one of the reasons why I am not really active on TL anymore. People get off on seeing him lose, and attempting to troll his fans.

after he defended his natural, where he lost nothing and killed medivacs he was good to get a third and just play defensive. he basically denied a standard timing by terran and was well off.
Moving out vs bio when you are just on colossi is pretty stupid when you are not going for the killing blow - and having a chance of actually landing the killing blow.

Huk had nothing but stalkers vs. bio. Cant imagine how this is being ahead.

Afterburners won't be nerfed because blizzard insists they are fantastic, fair and balanced. So much so, that they refuse to even mention it in their reports/interviews; Void Rays and Widow Mines are their focus currently.

He didn't get the 40 supply lead until after the drop killed a ton.
