Hey, anyone have vods or links to the Sheth vs ToD game? scredddit has a good response over it and I'm curious how that game turned out.

Of course Grubby should be out, he lost one more map than the players he's tied with. What if Grubby vs. DeathAngel would have ended 2-1? Shouldn't DeathAngel's extra map win (5-2) count and place him above the other's with the same points?

Grubby fanboys - just as painful as in WC3.

Or maybe tell me around what number in this thread the games took place so that I can read those post.
Or, or if there are VODs up that would be the most awesome ofcourse (A)

Kas denied idras 3rd with blue flame hellions and got his own 3rd up faster than idra, and then he just capitalized on that. Both games

They are still working it out. Technically if you have the better record it would make sense for the person who has the fewest loses to move on because they have the better record. Technicalities.

I can't even comprehend how unfair that rule would be. Beat someone 2-0 and then because you lost one more map than said person, your out. Should be counted only by wins and if tied on wins then tiebreaker.

seems simple enough for me, a 2-0 is harder than a 2-1

I don't think direct result should override map difference, especially if you've played all Bo3s. The rules are standard, they're good.

No there's not. wtf man?

1st and 2nd is all the same this time.

Oh really? I'm just dumb then haha, shall go read the format properly =p

I shall scramble and say he could have theoretically ended in a 3way tie if Grubby hadn't dropped a map to Devil then? =p

It's done like that in every other league I know of. I don't see why it wouldn't be the same here. I would highly encourage it because that would mean every game counts regardless and the players would have more reason to dominate. ._.

Idra got 2-0'd by the guy he called terrible just a month ago.

Because a month ago the ONLY reason kas won was because idra didn't scout that he was going some weird ass wonky mass hellion no blue fame build, where he built like 12+ hellions and ran in.

Idra didn't scout what was Kas was doing and that justifies him calling Kas terrible? Really?

Yep Idra fanboys at their finest.

I'm not an idra fanboy just smart enough to realize that the build kas was doing was horrible, and the only reason it worked was because he idra didn't think there was any way he would use some bad build. The build is one of the few builds thats so hard countered it's not even funny. Sweet he made 14 hellions, i'll make 7 roaches and win. It wasn't creative, it wasn't a good build, it was just straight up that idra didn't expect it because it's such a horrible build. If you want to call the fact that kas chose a build and essentially got lucky being good then sure go ahead, but come on really?

Because that one game is not what people base their opinion about Kas on ?

Uhm nope... if you get second you get two of the numbers 1's in other groups and if you get the first place, you get only one other 1st place finisher. So it's not all the same. It could become that way, but this time no...

I don't understand this discussion!!! What does it matter if Idra is more accomplished than Kas in offline tournaments? The only thing that matters to distinguish the two is their record in games against each other. That is the only feasible way of comparing skill between players.
