Well the same could be sayd by Idra his only tournament win was IEM china without any Code S or Code A players isnt really top notch is it?
His MLG results overall destroy anything Kas has done. MAYBE if kas went to more tournaments people would have some ground to stand on, but his "best" result is a tournament where he got destroyed by a korean and beating "okay" pros. At least in Idras case hes finished top 4 in 3 MLGs, several other notable top 5 finishes.

Because a month ago the ONLY reason kas won was because idra didn't scout that he was going some weird ass wonky mass hellion no blue fame build, where he built like 12+ hellions and ran in. which works perfectly fine against a zerg that is really stubborn, not creative at all and unable to adapt to anything beyond what he calls "common" It wasn't a failure to adapt it was a failure to scout a completely random ass build that is 100% counterable if scouting. It's a bad build that idra didn't expect because as a zerg it's so incredibly easy to counter. It's "good" because it's bad. It is not like Idra lost to Kas once, he lost to him on multiple occasions

lol @ people not even seeing Sen vs DeathAngel and suggesting Sen tanked the games.
There's a reason to play to win your group you know..?

They are still working it out. Technically if you have the better record it would make sense for the person who has the fewest loses to move on because they have the better record. Technicalities.

Exactly, this will be BS if Grubby doesn't advance. how is it silly that the person that wins more games goes through? Already posted this but DeathAngel played Sen when Sen was already guaranteed top2 spot and there's no seeds here so Sen doesn't care if he loses that match or not. The game wasn't broadcasted so i didn't see what happened but the system is definitely flawed like this. Getting free wins from players who don't care is not fair... don't you think? He wasn't guaranteed top 2. If he lost vs. DeathAngel and Grubby 2-0'd Devil they'd have a three-way tie. Grubby < Sen < DeathAngel < Grubby.
Oh you're right Sen wasn't through but it can happen so that a player is through no matter if he wins or loses the last game and when there's no difference between 1st and 2nd place he can just do whatever. Im not a Grubby fanboy or anything i just think they need to change something.

The mod in the stream chat on Dreamhacksc2 said: 3:19 Mod Sk_jono: Either group O will finish off stream tonight or they will stream it tomorrow morning
Edit: then someone quoted: "sk_jono: Stream is over for today, remaining games and draw will be off stream or in the morning, stream starts at 10CET"

What was the last thing they said on the stream? I really would like to know if there will be group drawings or if I can go to bed...

Can someone that is at teh event, if Sen really played?? Or did he just give away the games without playing since he was through??

He's not necessarily wrong... Pressure is also part of the game. Otherwise Rainbow would be the best terran bw player and not flash since he killed almost everyone on practice games ? (well can't remember him beating flash on a daily basis, but point is nobody reminds of rainbow as the 2nd best terran, hell far from it actually)
So no, it's not ignorance.

No there's not. wtf man?
1st and 2nd is all the same this time.

Everyone here is just assuming that Sen didn't give it his all vs DeathAngel. Maybe DeathAngel was just better in that series and deserved to win? I know Sen has great ZvZ normally, but it's still a possibility.

Second place at a tournament where the best people he had to play were grubby and cloud? Yeah he had to play MC but he lost 4-0 People need to win stuff to be considered good? Oz has won jack shit and is codes ro4. Sase has not won one lane tournament. Stephano just won his first big title. Gold medals in lan tournaments are a terrible measurement of skill. Idra has won 0 tournaments in EU. He won one MLG where everyone sucked, and an IEM in china that he barely made it to playoffs against barely any top players.
Yes? how can u be considered good if you don't win anything of significance, it's like saying someones good cause they can win a pick up soccer game but can't win a game in the pro leagues to save their life. Go look at Idras compared to Kas achievements and tell me who's more accomplished. Yes you can be good at this game and not win shit, but the point is how good can you really be if you can't stand the pressure of a Lan, and what's the real point of being "good" if you can't do anything with it but win ladder games. You can say all day about how Kas is better than Idra, and who knows maybe Kas can beat idra, but that doesn't mean he's better overall. Haypro beat Nestea, Idra has beaten Haypro tons of times, does that mean Idra is now God of zerg? No.

*shrugs* Just don't pay attention to them. They're like IdrA fanboys, cant reason with 'em.

Can someone please give a small rundown on the IdrA vs Kas games? Very curious Or maybe tell me around what number in this thread the games took place so that I can read those post. Or, or if there are VODs up that would be the most awesome ofcourse (A)

The groups are decided in the following order: points, maps +/-, internal match. In case of a three-way-tie of the previous criteria internal maps +/- will decide.
Guys Grubby is out. Whether Sen played his hardest again Deathangel is irrelevant. I think when they played there is still a chance of three way tie, so I don't see sen just gave away two wins...

The players will play a tie-breaker of BO1 against each other. The first match-up will be randomly drawn and tie-breakers will continue until the group is decided. Standard rules, feel bad for grubby though.

Drawing for tomorrows groups should be on day9 stream next?

I can't even comprehend how unfair that rule would be. Beat someone 2-0 and then because you lost one more map than said person, your out. Should be counted only by wins and if tied on wins then tiebreaker.

I thought it was
1) w/l 2) game difference 3) direct result
Going by these rules, Grubby should be out.
edit: someone beat me to it. Yeah, standard procedure. Heartbreaking for Grubby, but he shouldn't have lost that one more map.
Is Group O still playing? I want to know if Huk choked.

Sen risked a tie-breaker by losing 0-2, all it would have taken was Grubby winning 2-0 against Devil. So he had an incentive to win there.
