Maybe he does blame himself?

How can you say this about someone who "doesnt gg" or seems "bad mannered"?

He does blame himself for losses, he doesn't GG to kas because he doesn't like Kas

He doesn't care what butthurt TL posters say about it either, they are inconsequential.

LOL probably doesn't care what random internet fanboys post either using your logic

Start GGing and maybe you'll have better results.
gg Kas, glad to see him playing good in lan

Do you guys actually read your stuff before you post it?

o.O

I dont understand what was wrong with their posts? They are both expressing their disdain with Idras lack of respect for other players. Additionally, they are implying that perhaps if Idra took more responsibility for his losses, his game would benefit.

Money. And with a shitload of money comes pressure. How to react in a pressure situation is a sign for viewers how good/bad a player is. "Omg he chokes/He's tilting!/He's is nervous!/ or the good way "omg he's so calm/He's a coldhearted player/His decision making is very strong"

Meh i know what you mean, but still, how to handle pressure is still a quality that comes out best at big LAN's.

Ow and the outlet of pressure at a biglan (first 20sec)

I'd be very dissapointed if there wouldn't be some kind of tiebreaker in Grubby's group.
I believe I've seen it somewhere else where they just played bo1s in case of a tie, would be the perfect solution imo.

Yes but those might as well be ladder

We get it you don't like him or you are Idra fanboy, Kas won enough of things that do matter for any reasonable person.

Thta would be MVP, Bomber or MMA? Clearly DH needs more koreans :D

none of them have both, only Mvp has the macro but his control could be better, Bomber micro isn't exceptionnal, and I feel like MMA is just a different kind of terran.

Bomber micro isn't exceptionnal?
Lol.
Go watch him vs Annyeong, GSTL playoff vs Prime...
Not sure if trolling since Mvp's control is almost unmatched

We're speaking about what'd be if someone had MKP (when he isn't tilting :D) micro and Kas macro.Bomber/Mvp have a better macro but there is still some room for more micro and a better control. The only one you could consider near this description is Mvp. Bomber is a macro beast, but his micro is far from being at the same level.

The Kas who is supply block at 46/46?
Kas didn't macro particularily well lol. MKP's macro is far better otherwise he would not have his TvZ results

No they can't. It would be against the principle, which is that you can't "choose" your group by losing.

Idra got 2-0'd by the guy he called terrible just a month ago.

Because a month ago the ONLY reason kas won was because idra didn't scout that he was going some weird ass wonky mass hellion no blue fame build, where he built like 12+ hellions and ran in.

Idra didn't scout what was Kas was doing and that justifies him calling Kas terrible? Really?

Yep Idra fanboys at their finest.

I'm not an idra fanboy just smart enough to realize that the build kas was doing was horrible, and the only reason it worked was because he idra didn't think there was any way he would use some bad build. The build is one of the few builds thats so hard countered it's not even funny. Sweet he made 14 hellions, i'll make 7 roaches and win. It wasn't creative, it wasn't a good build, it was just straight up that idra didn't expect it because it's such a horrible build. If you want to call the fact that kas chose a build and essentially got lucky being good then sure go ahead, but come on really?

Sounds like what happened between Naniwa and Leenock, except Naniwa's build was safer, tighter, and yet Leenock still figured out what was wrong with it and capitalized.

If IdrA can't do the same... He can't consistently win.

Kas hasn't won anything of any significance with good players. Why do people bother saying well x is so good but he just has nerves. it doesn't matter how good you think someoen is when they can't win anything worthwhile.

Well the same could be sayd by Idra his only tournament win was IEM china without any Code S or Code A players isnt really top notch is it?

Perfect racial balance going into the second group stage so far 10/10/10 for p/z/t and last group tied 1/1/1/1, funny. Cant wait for tomorows groups, everyone at this stage has a chance to win any group gonna be so awesome.

55.5% of all Protoss advance
47.6% of all Terrans advance
40.0% of all Zerg advance

However, the amount of non top-tier Zerg was a bit higher, so pretty fine stats overall.
Mutation complete.

how is it silly that the person that wins more games goes through?

Already posted this but DeathAngel played Sen when Sen was already guaranteed top2 spot and there's no seeds here so Sen doesn't care if he loses that match or not. The game wasn't broadcasted so i didn't see what happened but the system is definitely flawed like this. Getting free wins from players who don't care is not fair... don't you think?

I agree, I'm not sure what rules Dreamhack has for 3 way ties but I don't think map score is the best way to solve it. However rules are rules so if that's what they have in place then that's how it has to be, maybe it'll be looked at in the future.

If Grubby would have won 2-0 it would have been a 3-way tie between them all so Sen wasn't sure to advance, also, making every map count is the way (afaik) every tour break ties in group play.

Idra losing is his own fault. Yes i like idra but i would have to say that he sometimes underestimates his opponent and loses in the stupidest ways.
