Wow I'm very surprised. I would think Huk and Sangho are two people that actually deserve to be in Code A in my opinion. At least Virus and Clide finally dropped out of Code S, don't think they belonged there. Anyway I'm so happy for Protoss! :D

No they knew. A back door natural and a front door natural is what protoss likes generally.

Really, Huk as well? He's been a bit sloppy from travel but it's been pretty clear that he's focusing on GSL right now, and that's where the practice is going. When Huk is seriously committing to one tourney in particular, you get runs like MLG Orlando. I think he's definitely code S level, and is without a doubt one of the top 5 protoss in the world right now.

see what I did there, dear terrans?

Actually, huge deal was GomTV taking things into their own hands, just look at the map pool. Removing gold patches, huge ass macro maps (btw I love this new one with pocket expansion, so many good games on it already), this really hurts terran mid-game where they are STILL pretty much OP. This alowed toss players to play more macro-oriented games, get upgrades, get colossi+ht which actually made games balanced. I mean come on, if you think that games look different because players like Killer and MC just recently learnt how to macro you need to seriously grow up.

Relax tho, Ro16 is comming, when our 5 toss players will face opponents of higher skill caliber (think: MMA, MVP, Nestea, Coca, sC) and things won't look that smooth. Ro32 was just bunch of semi-good terrans that were used to emp + stim&win doing 0 harras and having terrible engagements. Guess what, that won't work.

Removing gold patches is a biggest factor in protoss doing so well against terrans. Terrans need those minerals and gold bases with mules on it gave them a huge boost. Ofc it should stay that way, because gold bases benefited terrans more than the other races and a future balance should be made with that in mind - no more gold bases.

oh wells, still fun to watch, grats to all of those sad zealots that advanced!

Terran hasn't developed TvP in months and they have mostly focused on TvT, where as protoss have been using all of this time trying to find a way to take down the terran. This is how metagame works.

exactly and this is why the patch is pointless. protoss now destroys even code s terrans and with the next patch its going to be even stronger. and its even worse for non pro-terrans outside of GM TvP already heavily favors protoss.

in short, blizzard are dumb.

Emp still does a disgusting amount of damage. Terran will have to learn like protoss are learning. Kill the obs, cloak, snipe the templar, emp the army. A ghost can weather a full storm so if they don't have detection, there is nothing protoss can do. Also, the terran ate all of the storms almost completely here. They need to split out of storms just like toss have to try and keep their army split up and their templar staggered.

Then all they need to do is change it once their racial diversity level is pleasing enough. Doing Blizzard's job for them

Mr Chae knows the score.

Ahh crap, Huk and Leenock, two of my most favourite of favourites, in the same group as NesTea and MMA, two of the mostly beastly of beasts.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

To be honest I think this is going to be a very strange code S season, no one looks 100 % solid right now and anything could happen in the next set of group stages. With so much at stake in this new format and evidence that even strong players can and will fall I expect to see a lot more well oiled builds out of everyone.

This will be the beginning of the rise of zerg and protoss players in the gsl. Both Z/P have showed to be really good vs terran in the last months despite what people say. Just look at the most recent cups and major tournaments outside of korea they're almost all won by zergs. fun fact: the last 10 monthly online cups in the eu scene didnt have a single terran in the finals in any of them.

Keep them in the back all safe and cozy. If a toss blinks in to snipe then throw down a damn PDD.

Pretty sure he's talking about using Ravens to catch burrowed units, obs, etc. When Ravens stop moving at 1 centimeter an hour, then maybe Terrans will consider using them. Until then, it's purely a defensive endgame unit.
