Hey mav, just a heads up, for whatever reason a few maps don't seem to keep the same ranking overall. Maps like FS and Destination keep different records in terms of W:L and Rating.

Not a huge issue, but just something that I catch when ever I play series that are more than 3 or so games that change maps.

Just a thing about Irradiate: it's too small. Can you increase it about 1.25~1.5 the size?

These maps are incredible. They are SO professionally done, and work absolutely perfectly. The units look incredible, the maps are done just right, the spells work perfectly, it is so much fun to play. I wish I could play this on ladder instead of sc2 : ). However, I also hate these maps. They make me miss lurkers too much. It's painful as zerg to have to go back to sc2 with no lurkers or defilers.

Played a fun pvz on fighting spirit :

I'm a noob, so i completly messed up the BO that I wanted to do (+1 speedlot) ,but still managed to do a lot of damage , after that the game got messy. The game was played on hardcore , which is part of the reason why my macro is that horrible , if you want high level play don't watch it , but i had a lot of fun during this game so I figured I would share it .

FS is 128 by 128. IIRC, the map can be that size in SC2. You have to adjust the camera boundaries though. I'm not sure if the models in SC2:BW take the same number of tiles as their SC2 counterparts though. Are you talking about the map file size?

This map is awesome, especially to give my friends a feeling of how Brood War felt like, though with the new graphics and pathing it still is a little bit better as it feels smoother.

  • New Icons for Carrier/Shuttle/Valkyrie/Dragoon/Reaver/Defiler/Queen/Corsair/Arbiter/Guardian by Alex06



Changes
  • Increased Mutalisk/Wraith/Corsair Turning Rate slightly
  • Pylon Power Radius increased to 7.25 from 6.5 (originally 7.5)
  • Dark Templar will no longer Notify the enemy if it 1 shots it's Target
  • Resized all Ground Units
  • Recalculated Building Footprints (for wallin)
  • Reverted size change on Mutalisk
  • Tweaked orientations for some buildings
  • Remade Air Unit Stacking mechanic, much more efficient and faster. still has a framerate drop with large amounts of air units (40+) in a single hotkey, but remains playable
  • Zergling Attack changed to increase worker scout survivability


Fixes
  • Fixed some Protoss Buildings like the Stargate having abnormally scaled warp in animations
  • Small Units can no longer fit through the gap in the cliff on Destination's Natural Expansions
  • Dark Swarm should no longer make a large square shadow

looks better. less cramped down the sides. still looks a little cramped from bridge to centre obstacle distance but not a big deal anymore with the thinner wall thing

Do you have any plans in future editions to have more current maps (i.e. those in the SPL currently, like Empire of the Sun or La Mancha)?

either way, great game work thusfar, it feels incredibly broodwar-like so far.
also i think you should be able to combine like 5 archons to make a really really shitty oliver stone film - Keanu_Reaver, bw balance genius

I see, that is quite unfortunate =( ah well it happens, I can't complain all the maps are pretty damn well done anyway. Though if you ever need someone to upload other maps for you, I probably won't ever do anything with my slots and would be more than happy to upload some for you.

i've scaled most units down in graphical size by about 10%
im pretty happy with how i have it currently, by ty anyway
