Hi MavercK, I've found some bugs:

1. Protoss:
- Plasma Shield upgrade should cost 200:200 at level 1. Now it's 150:150.
- Argus Jewel should only add 50 to max energy of Corsair only. Now it also change the start energy from 50 to 62. This happens to all other similar upgrades.
- Corsair deal no damage to (Protoss) plasma shield.
- Carrier got the attack behavior of Starcraft 2: once you order it to attack target then give another order but still keep close distance to target, it doesn't stop attacking.

2. Zerg:
- Rally point doesn't work for drone. Btw, can we have 2 rally points for each Hatchery like Starcraft 2?
- Acid Spores of Devourer should slow down the attack speed of the target only. Now it also slow down the move speed.
- Infested Terran should have ability to burrow by default.

3. Terran:
- Firebat can attack from rather far distance (like range unit).
- Unit can be healed by only 1 medic at one time.
- Dropship can pickup sieged tank.
- Defensive matrix doesn't work: you can still cast but it does't protect unit from damage.

4. Other:
Could you please consider using former models for these units:
- Dragoon
- Corsair
- Reaver
- Lurker
I think the former models are much better.

The +50 energy upgrades giving extra starting energy is not a bug. It was like that in BW also. You start at 62 energy when you get these upgrades.

The Carrier thing doesn't sound like a bug. Interceptors in BW respond in certain intervals which allow them to remain on nearby targets even after new commands are issued.

Only 1 rally point from Hatcheries is intended. Brood War didn't have multiple rally points.

Infested Terrans needed the global Burrow upgrade to be able to Burrow. If you're saying SC2BW does not support this, that's a bug.

Firebats have a longer range in BW than their animation shows. I don't know if this is actually a bug.

Units only being able to be healed by one medic at a time is not a bug. This is how it worked in BW also.

Defensive Matrix does not prevent all damage. Instead it applies a 250-hp shield which allows 0.5 damage to seep through each time the shielded unit is attacked (similar to how armor works if your armor is higher than the attacking unit's damage). If that unit were attacked by an 85-damage Siege Tank, 1.5 damage would seep through. If it were attacked by a 5-damage Zergling, 25 damage would seep through.

Brudwar has so many differences in gameplay with sc2 <3
The abilities are honed for other purposes, "no multiple rally points"
While many of those seem to be "what was available/do able at the time", do not mistake the intent/valor of those.

My kid had the same response: "daddy something is wrong"
My response: "No, it is different, check it out".

I understand that, but the design intent of SC2BW is to emulate BW within SC2 as accurately as possible. Effectively, it's a port. Therefore, if there are any differences, they can be considered bugs, even if those differences are quality of life improvements.

yea the +50 energy upgrades are +50 maximum energy and +12.5 starting energy (who knows why it's 0.5)

it's very likely however changes in lotv affected sc2bw, a fair amount broke when i first tested the mod on lotv, i had to remake several units/buildings from scratch.

interceptor stuff could be a bug. i know Blizzard made changes to the carrier in SC2 and it may have affected my changes as well, i'll have to test.

you should have two rally points when playing non-hardcore with zerg.
that said i can't speak for the hardcore settings right now, i haven't tested them much at all. many bugs probably exist with these turned on.

and yea. corsair not dealing damage to protoss units is a very strange bug. no fix yet.

Devourer doesn't deal damage to plasma shield either. But both of them do deal damage to 'life' part of Protoss units.

It's 0.5 because energy units spawn with 25% of max energy. 25% of 200 is 50, and 25% of 250 is 62.5 =)

I don't actually know whether that's truncated in BW or if it actually silently tracks decimals though.

How about read the description & specifically the words under it... just sayin.
You'll see that you dont need to download anything. Custom Games are inside the game client, if you want to play this one, just search for SC2BW like the instructions on the front page clearly state.

Is this still a thing? Cause with Remastered being just a sprites thing, I really want to give a try to playing BW without the pathing mistakes, terrain bugs, attack and move bugs....
