Darius does extremely well with a single offensive item. Botrk also allows him to roam, since it opens up play making abilities.

how do you play against a lee sin who maxes safeguard top lane as champions like elise and jayce, his lifesteal seem to outsustain my harass since he relies on energy rather than mana and I'm not sure I can all in him.

Just farm and be more useful late game.
Its not like W-max Lee has any kill potential unless he outplay you hard. He do no damage. Both Jayce and Elise much more usefull in late game. Better at blowing up squishes, better poke, etc etc.

Yeah. I didn't understand the wiki there. Although tiamat does not trigger on hit effects, it can get triggered by autoattacks. My bad.

I think Lord Tolkien is the resident Fiora expert. Slayer91 plays her too and is a high level player if you wanted to ask someone specifics

My friend and I played Janna/Kog against Graves/Nami and got stomped pretty bad. I felt like we had a lot of trouble keeping brush control because we just didn't have the damage to be threatening. Any suggestions/tips on this match-up?

Be really really really careful and dont get hit by Nami q or you die. I am pretty sure that Nami Graves should be way stronger in lane here. Hope to outscale them lategame.

Here's a mini-mini-Fiora-guide. This is meant to be applicable to as many situations as possible, rather than optimal for any one.
Masteries: 21/0/9 or 21/9/0
Runes: ad or armpen reds and quints, armor yellows, mr blues. Read the fiora thread for a discussion of ad vs armpen.
Skills: QEWWWR, max W first then level Q and E roughly evenly.
Items: Hexdunker or Wriggles against magic or phys respectively, Bloodthirster, Last Whisper, Guardian Angel. Get LW after GA. Wriggles changes might have made it not worth getting, dunno. BT LW GA is the core you should go for. I'm still convinced that Tiamat is silly on Fiora, though it definitely has a place if you want to split push hard with her. She's bad at dedicated split push though.
Lane strategy: Be hyperaggressive. Whenever you see an opening, mash all your skills and start stabbing him. Save your other Q for chasing further or disengaging. Once you have ult, go balls deep whenever it's up. If you're ahead ult will let you get a kill and sometimes even win a 1v2.
Teamfight strategy: Same as any other squishy melee assassin, though you have the sustained dps resets to make you useful after you blow your skills. Either way, go balls deep when ult is up, and ESPECIALLY when GA is up. Ult when you're low and watch your health rocket up.

Can't really win trades vs Graves/Nami, need to just poke. Any trade they will win handily because Graves gas higher burst and Nami W. Key to winning lane imo is making sure Graves can't E into attack range with solid tornadoes. Aside from E no real gap closers. But if they get in range they going to beat you because Janna AD steroid done when shield die, whereas Nami E persists, not to mention Graves passive giving him the armors.
Keep in mind it okay for kog/Janna to lose that lane, so long as Graves not become legendary or something. Janna passive really stronk and Kog teamfight presence way stronger because of range and W steroid.
Just keep good gap control and dont get too far behind, I'd call it a victory.

Hi, I am a beginner at lol (i think i have only 500 games played in total). I am playing with my gf on the bot lane, In the last few times i have been playing caitlyn (though i have also played varus and draven to some extent) and she plays lulu.
Most of the times our lanes go ok, EXCEPT when:
1. The other team has soraka. Somehow no matter how much poke we manage, it does not matter. For instance a MF + soraka is annoying as hell.
2. The other team has nidalee. We just got destroyed in lane by a nidalee and quinn just now. Of course, most of the times because of eating javelins.
Now the question is: how do we handle this kind of lanes ? For nidalee lanes i have a hunch that we need to be pushing our lane in order to have as many mobs between us and nidalee as possible ? For soraka lanes i have no idea.

Soraka is really weird in lane. Lulu is usually rather weak against her. You can get an advantage early on while her heal does not heal for a lot, but after level ~5 lulu just basically does not do anything in lane against her, and you don't have an allin potential to hurt her either.
There are 2 ways of dealing with this. Either trade/allin constantly. Don't leave them any time to gather and heal up. Don't stay in lane for too long if you are slightly ahead but slowly going lower, instead push into turret and come back to lane. The worst thing for you to happen is to trade, let soraka slowly heal it up while you stay at 50%, and then be pushed back to your tower.
The other is to just farm it out. Soraka has neither poke, nor can she really force trades unto you. Just make sure you know what you are doing. There is no point in slight constant harass against a soraka lane. You are just wasting mana and life. You either harass/trade constantly and so hard that you abuse that soraka does not do a lot in those trades and you can get the enemy lower despite that sustain, or you try to avoid trading.
Another thing to note is that soraka is incredibly bad in early teamfights. Try to get fights going with more people in your lane, like junglers, mid players, stuff like that. Soraka has no CC, and no escape.
And Nidalee....Don't get hit by spears. Early on, try to force fights/harass her, because she does not really do a lot in real trades. Push the lane, ward bushes, and practice not getting hit by spears. Easiest way is standing behind minions. Another is simple reaction time. Spears are pretty slow.

Soraka is a straight-up "counter" to Lulu, in that her Silence has more range than all of your spells except Q, and you won't do enough damage to them through her heals (not necessarily true with Draven, but definitely with Cait, who tends to poke often for little damage). You can push the wave somewhat fast using Lulu's Q (and Varus or Cait offensive spells, obviously harder with Draven) and then force them to farm at tower (unless Soraka spams Q to push it back) and they probably don't have much offensive potential on you though.
About Nidalee, it's about bush control: if you have vision of her and position correctly either she won't be able to throw javelins at you or you'll see them coming so you should be able to dodge them. If they take AP runes/masteries like they often do they won't have any MR (and sometimes no armour either) so Lulu's poke with Q, E and even autoattacks will hit Nidalee hard (she has a heal but it isn't too powerful and she's maxing Q first). They also can't push the lane back if you do, and since Nidalee has no cc (while you have slows, polymorph, and a knock-up) they're much more vulnerable to ganks than you, so make your jungler come and kill helpless Nidalee and her carry.
Plus everytime you dodge a spear, as Lulu you can just run straight at Nidalee and force her back (her carry may hit you if he's close, but since you're playing as a duo you should have good communication to make sure you follow your gf when she does that) because she won't have a follow-up or answer to you except running. She's got a good burst in cougar form post-6 tho.

But now i have another question. When playing jungle Voli (it happened last time while seeding for the ranked matches) it's so hit and miss. It's frustrating how in the early game i gank all the lanes, got even 5-0 in the first 10 mins, but then i proceed to lose. How can i press the advantage when i'm a fed voli ? do i wrongly try to build tanky afterwards and should build dps instead ? Of course, the fact that noone pressed objectives on this advantage and the fact that our mid fed did not help, but anyhow what do i do as a 5-0 voli ?

Get gold to the carries.
Killing dragon is a good way to do this. Killing towers is another good way. Getting successful ganks off is also good. Even just creating pressure to make it safe for them to farm is good.
If that's not the problem, if your carries have plenty of cash but you still lose, then get people to group up and go accomplish something. Boss people around. Usually they'll listen, if you're not rude about it.
