RIP t.t With 4.10 changes he was pretty good since randuins got nerfed. Woulda liked to see him played a bit more in competitive before this nerf... If anything nerfing Randuin's played against him. Name a matchup in 1v1 isolation where randuins nerf realistically hurts him. No top laner utilizes AS except kayle, and her main source of dmg was magic. Jax already shits on every adc. Cuz jax.

Uh. There was definitely a period of 2 months where ad kayle top was a thing.

it's been deleted due to age but the Rincent ADC top Kayle guide on solomid was kinda a thing, especially after Dyrus showed it in pro play.

I think the only team running adc(position) kayle was Goose, but they did run it.

'cause Jax wasn't able to spend all his games splitpushing 1v1. When you were behind you didn't go "oh I'll just splitpush till I make up for my 40 cs deficit and get Triforce+BotRK late then hop in teamfights", and in these cases you finished your first damage item (more often BotRK when you're behind) then went tanky because teamfights are usually required at that point.
Uh, that PBE mana buff for Ahri is so ugly. A main AoE nuke for only 50 mana, that's like the cost of Orianna's Q. Ahri was already annoying to deal with pre-6 because the relatively low cost of Q let her easily push people in if she wanted to hit levels first or just make sure she recalled when it suited her, and a low cost spell makes it harder to outplay someone by playing around their mana pool. I'm not sure why this'd need to be buffed, it was already a rather low cost spell to begin with.

Just a heads up, Chogath is going to be a complete monster in the jungle when this goes live. I'll be updating the guide again soon.

It annoys me too. It's probably some high ranking guy's nephew who got hired to write the patch notes. He's trying to be all cute and feel like he's actually contributing by adding his 6th grade humor and memes.

It's also not funny and coming from riot makes it even less so. Be a decent person, show respect for humour. I would be willing to bet that 90% or more of the employees at Riot came from the community. Riot isn't evil. They make a game, they have a business model, they do it well. While I'm sure that the business side takes precedence because they're providing us with a 100% FREE GAME (note: 100% free--I own all champs, 14 runepages, and all the runes that matter and I have spent $0 total on this game), they are a business and they need to stay afloat. Do you think it's easy keeping these servers running 24/7 around the world without revenue? Do you know how many employees they have to pay? How about the international tournaments with massive production value and million-dollar prize pools? Of course they're going to address the issue of "how do we keep people playing?" and "how do we monetize this game?"
And for what it's worth, I think it's very genuine of them to keep it fun. That's a part of their mission statement (http://www.riotgames.com/about) and, in my opinion, it's really fucking awesome of them that they provide all of this to us FOR FREE. It's 100% your choice to spend any money at all on this game, and I think that they should be rewarded if they provide content that influences people to choose to do so.
Keep in mind--they did everything. They still do everything. You didn't do shit. If they wanna choose a new direction, it's their prerogative. Whine like a child about them saying "troll pool" if you want. But fuck off with the insults about them not being my friend. Riot has immensely improved the quality of my life, and I'm grateful to them as an organization and as individuals.
Except Rivington, who's getting hit up on the backside. (I'm kidding, he's growing on me.)

Reading the red posts about Poppy, would she fit the sort of Paladin trope? With an ult like BKB or physical damage immunity that can be cast on anyone, and a force staff like ability on her Q (maybe usable on team mates). I'd like to see a tanky top laner who is also a kind of support, rather than just a damage soak.

I think you may be overreacting a bit to a couple of jokes in the patch notes.
