And these are university educated professionals working for a consultancy firm which does lots of NHS work. They still don't see how much of a crazy person May is.

Apart from the people who are hyped up about Corbyn (who are going to be massively disappointed on Friday) I think most people are just fed up and frustrated with May but are going to vote for her anyway because she isn't Corbyn. Also this is the Suns election day front page sitting on the fence as usual

Have to place my hope in Tory backbenchers who actually care about liberal values.

It should make you miss Labour leaders that weren't so terrible that economically literate people felt like they had only one option. Corbyn/Abbott/McDonnell have left me with no choice. Farron also to blame for his idiotic stance on Brexit which has absolutely nothing to do with liberal or democratic values. Have to place my hope in Tory backbenchers who actually care about liberal values. Not many of them left either, Cameron was a much safer bet he didnt tinker too much and had liberal people in his Cabinet. I think there is some hope that this election has shown May to not be as great as MPs first thought and they might get rid of her some time in this parliament maybe after Brexit, then perhaps the conservatives can do a proper leadership contest not a reenactment of Macbeth.

The Conservative party line won't waver from Brexit. Thats why I said after Brexit, once its sorted get rid of her shes proved the last few months she can't even run a good campaign compared to Jeremy fucking Corbyn. The Conservative party will never end its regicide because it exists purely to win elections and govern. May has shown what she has and I don't think it will be enough for her to survive until 2022 or whenever the next election will be, who could succeed her though I don't really rate anyone in the conservative cabinet other than Boris, maybe Amber Rudd she is May 2.0 i guess. Bring back David Cameron? On June 08 2017 06:54 bardtown wrote: There are Tory backbenchers who are very passionate about 'ancient civil liberties'. A lot of overlap with the Brexit group. Unfortunately any newer members with these views are being blocked by CCHQ, for any constituency without a candidate already chosen before the election was announced May's team gives a shortlist to each one and blocking any choices they don't like e.g. Dan Hannan (key member of the leave campaign.) Even where I live one of May's ex special advisers has been parachuted in. So all the new seats May gains are going to be her type of conservatives.

She is quite Machiavellian, really.

Waiting for people to be disappointed when the NHS gets sold (and worse), the common person is poorer, the UK becomes the 51st of the Ununited States of Trump and there are no extra police to shoot the next nutter that drives a van into a crowd though.

Who looks at that and thinks, yeah this is what I want to read and pay for to get informed? Anyway good luck with the election today, hope you don't end up in a Maytopia
