Yes, Orphans. We Americans can only get arrested for feeding homeless. Orphans. You're Good. + Show Spoiler +

I know similar things have happened in Vegas and NYC. If the North needs a whoopin, lets find a reason that doesn't make us a big hypocrite. Spoilered so the lazy remain in bliss.

Orlando: arrested for violating city ordinance, not for feeding homeless. Perfectly free to feed homeless according to city rules. City ordinance they violated was passed after community members complained about trash and drug problems when the homeless congregated at the park Food Not Bombs had chosen to distribute food at.
Miami: the entire issue was resolved after discussion between the city and the nuns. Again, "institutional" neighbors (businesses etc.) complained about problems the homeless were causing when they gathered to get the free food.
Philly: issue was, again, with the places chosen for distribution, not the distribution itself. The city's leading homeless advocate agrees with the city ("tentatively") on the issue. Mayor contended that the method of distributing food was hurtful to the dignity of the homeless.
Houston: again, an issue with a city ordinance. A stupid ordinance, but it is not arresting people for feeding the homeless.
You're just a fountain of misinformation aren't you. Apparently, not being able to feed the homeless whenever, wherever, in whatever manner you want = not being able to feed the homeless period.
Good job on comparing 15 years of slave-starve labor with maybe getting a fine. You are a true good judge of how the US and North Korea aren't really that different.

It's not a defendable position, from either stance. North Korea is indeed a plague on the international community.
Do your own search: Arrested for feeding homeless. No shortage, and I'm not going to shit up the thread arguing whether North Korea should allow feeding of orphans with a permit like America, then it's all GG. It's a ridiculous outrage either way, ergo, not worth sensationalizing.
Good job on comparing 15 years of slave-starve labor with maybe getting a fine. You are a true good judge of how the US and North Korea aren't really that different. /facepalm America counts on said slave-labor around the world for it's standard of living, and I won't apologize for finding it disgusting. Considering the 'out of sight, out of mind mentality' our particular brands of media engage in. American combat fatalities for example. I understand you hate my position, but painting me as a terrorist sympathizer, apologist, or endorser is going to backfire over and over. I don't like what they are doing, and I don't like what we are doing. Who can I change? Yep Us not them.
Two Musudan intermediate-range missiles have been packed up and taken away from their launch site on the east coast of North Korea, which U.S. intelligence has been monitoring for the past several weeks, CBS News correspondent David Martin reports.
These are mobile missiles so the fact that they've left one launch site doesn't mean they can't be moved to another and fired with little or no warning, Martin reports
The movement of the missiles away from the launch site coincides with the end of U.S.-South Korea exercises and the beginning of the spring planting season in the North when much of the military goes back to the farm, Martin reports. It also comes just a few days before President Obama's summit with South Korea's new president.
Whatever the reason, Pentagon spokesman George Little, who would not confirm that the missiles have been moved, said "what we have seen recently is a provocation pause."

I agree with this.
Maybe simply "North Korea Thread" or "North Korea discussion Thread" or even "korean discussion Thread" etc.

Grammatically the title is fine, no need to add an S. More interesting/appropriate than some generic title also

haha.. based on how North Korea always acted in the international stage, when South did not understand the purpose of this missile launch, it must be a fail in North Korea's part. Normally they always deliver a message with these missile tests, such as "We have nuke" or "We want food".
N. Korea launches three short-range guided missiles: defense ministry SEOUL, May 18 (Yonhap) -- North Korea on Saturday launched three short-range guided missiles into the sea off the Korean Peninsula's east coast, South Korea's Ministry of Defense said.
The ministry said it detected two launches fired in the morning, followed by another in the afternoon.
It said the country has beefed up monitoring on North Korea and is maintaining a high-level of readiness to deal with any risky developments.
I really wonder what they're doing. Just like SK, I have no idea what the purpose of those missile tests is. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, hrm...

No the title isn't grammatically correct at all. It would need to be either "says/does an alarming thing" or "says/does alarming things". If the "alarming thing" is a placeholder I'm not sure about English grammar but I doubt it can just be there like that without anything implicating it.

Maybe the purpose of the missile tests is just to test the missiles?
China seeks release of fishing boat seized by North Korea
North Korean forces have seized a Chinese fishing boat, Chinese officials told state-run news agency Xinhua late on Sunday, creating a potential new irritant in ties between the two allies.
Chinese counselor to North Korea Jiang Yaxian said North Korea had "grabbed" the private vessel from the northern city of Dalian in waters between China and the Korean peninsula, according to the official news portal.
Tensions have been mounting between North Korea and China, its most important economic and political backer. Some Chinese banks have frozen out North Korea's main foreign exchange bank amid frustration in Beijing over Pyongyang's nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs.
Ignoring international calls for restraint, North Korea fired a short-range missile from its east cost on Sunday, its fourth in two days, according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency.
Other Chinese state media quoted the owner of the missing boat, Yu Xuejun, as saying North Korea was demanding 600,000 yuan ($97,600) for its safe return, along with its 16 crew.
Yu told local media that the boat had been snatched on the evening of May 5 and he had approached Chinese authorities five days later to ask them to intervene.
"Upon receiving the call, the Chinese embassy promptly made representations to the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the DPRK (North Korean) Foreign Ministry, asking the DPRK side to release the boat and the fishermen as soon as possible," counselor Jiang told Xinhua.
"We will continue efforts to ensure that this issue is properly addressed at an early date."
This is not the first time Chinese vessels have been forcibly taken by North Korea. A year ago, it held a number of boats and fishermen for two weeks before releasing them.

Although it would be improved with an s, it is common practice to leave out certain words in, for example, a newspaper headline, so in that context it makes sense.
SEOUL—Government officials from North and South Korea held their first talks in over two years on Sunday to prepare for a higher-level meeting scheduled for Wednesday over reopening joint projects, including a landmark industrial park closed earlier this year.
[...]
After rejecting calls from the South for official talks for several weeks, Pyongyang unexpectedly proposed dialogue over resuming operations at the jointly run Kaesong Industrial Complex and other inter-Korean issues last week. In a further reconciliatory gesture, North Korea on Friday restored a Red Cross hotline with the South, which it had severed in March.
South Korea responded by proposing ministerial-level talks in Seoul on June 12, to which the North later agreed. Both Koreas haven’t met at the ministerial level since 2007.
It's nice to see relations thawing, but I kind of hoped that the North Korean populace would somehow gain something from these last couple of months. On the other hand, if Kaesong gets re-opened, the trade of candy that undermines the Kim regime can continue, so perhaps there will one day be change...
So...after all those threats of nuclear war, nothing happens, and they're back to talks. I shouldn't be surprised...but I guess I kind of was, probably because I don't know the history of their non-threats as well as others. I can't imagine I'll ever take them seriously again
