The best cigs I've had have been hand rolled I think. I never used filters though and eventually stopped because that shit was staining my fingers from rolling so many lol. I don't like smoking in the warmer months as much as the winter, probably because I have bad allergies and smoking just messes with my chest even more. So pretty much every summer I quit for 3-4 months or I switch to snus which I'm overdue for. Snus time this time.

Cigarette after breakfast, another on the taxi, a few more at work in the morning, a quarter of a pack at lunch, then some more at the office in the afternoon. Then finally, half a pack for the night, be it at a footbath parlor, a karaoke bar, wherever. I used to smoke a pack a week back in Canada, and no I'm closing in on 2 packs a day X_X The variety and insanely ubiquitous availability of cigarette brands, at all price ranges from. 50 cents to 20USD, is something to marvel at. I've tried about 3 dozen different brands, and I enjoyed all 2 dozens of it.

Well, after I finished reading it I never fucking picked up a cig again. It just completely set me off from it. My friend Lee, known him all my life, was a chain smoker since, oh, 8th grade or something and shortly after I got in touch with him again after graduation I told him to read it. He's been wanting to quit for a while and was finding it, well, really fucking hard and he quit just cold turkey like a month after I recommended it to him from it. I know it's all anecdotal evidence and to some, it may just seem like self-help bullshit. But that book stopped me just before the ball really started rolling in my addiction, and stopped one of my good friends from his addiction he was struggling with. But, that's all I'll say. It DOES relieve stress like very little else and who the fuck am I to tell someone how to live their life when it doesn't affect me at all. But I know some of you are perhaps wanting to quit, so def give it a read. ^^ http://www.amazon.com/Allen-Carrs-Easyway-Stop-Smoking/dp/0615482155

You're all adults, I know you know it's bad for you and you all have your reasons. We all do. However, I definitely have to recommend that Allen Carr book that was mentioned earlier in the thread. I was just starting to get into smoking back in high school, and was really starting to get hooked after a couple of months. I read that book more out of humor than for a serious intent to quit, I always found those self-help books and stuff particularly funny to skim through as they were mostly nonsensical bullshit of BELIEEEEEEEVE IN URSELF and stuff like that. It had a somewhat mild creamy feel overall. I recommend any cigar enthusiast give it a try. Ashton is one of those brands... They make very well blended, very well constructed cigars out of some of the finest and most maticulously screened tobaccos available. They're just too damn expensive. You can get a cigar 90% as good for half the price. I'm not trying to knock Ashtons, but you should really only think of buying them if a) you have a ton of disposable income; b) you can get them at a steep markdown; or C) it's a special occasion. It's the same with a lot of "super premium" brands. I just mentioned that I bought a few Gurkhas, but I got them at something like $3.50 a stick (instead of ~$10+ retail). There are really great deals out there if you keep an eye out and have some patience. Also, in New Zealand, they are planning to make smoking illegal by 2025, which I think is sad. I think people should be allowed doing what they want with their bodies, and it will just criminalise a lot of people too. Probably won't happen though, they just bring it up on the news every once in a while.

I had couple electronic cigarettes (two in case the other one ran out of battery;) and I tried to quit smoking with those. They helped me quite a bit, but still I wanted to experiense the real taste of L&M full flavor ![]() Somehow I lost my e-cigs after three days, but I was tobacco-free for 3 full days! Of course motivation is needed to quit, theres no magic tricks. + Show Spoiler +

Incidentally I did not notice anything about the massive variety of filters/paper available. Any thickness imaginable, hemp paper, flavoured paper, etc. I have settled on thin Rizla with cut corners and the thinnest filters I can find. This with flavoured baccie (cherry usually) makes for a killer smoke in my opinion. And *** all the haters :D
