The only thing I'm nervous about is making a new deck as I have no idea what the hell to put in a deck. What I did was google one and then use the search tool in the deck constructor to tune it. As I've played more I've had ideas of my own and made a few on my own.

A round of 16 seems the most reasonable! GreYMisT has a random bracketing tool to use. So the tournament rules would work as follows: - Advanced Format (unrated) - You must use the same main, side, and extra deck throughout the whole tournament. You can swap cards between your main deck and side deck in between games. - All matches are Bo3 with the final match being Bo5 - There must be at least one judge who does not participate in the tournament but spectates all matches and knows every players decklist. - No show = forfeit - Obvious cheating, such as changing your main deck during the tournament, will result in automatic disqualification - No going back on moves. If you made a misclick such as accidentally banishing a card you meant to summon that's fine. It's your responsibility to know what cards do/read them. If you make a bad play or forget to activate a card that's your fault. So what's the best format? Brackets with single elimination (fastest option)? Group style ala MSL or OSL? What do you think? First tournament can be for honor but what about having prizes in the future? Also don't netdeck if you're gonna play a tourney, everyone try to come up with your own deck and if you do netdeck to start try to make it somewhat original ok? It's no fun to win with some other players regional winning deck.

/edit: In my battle phase, someone special-summoned one monster card on this side of the field and I activated this card. But he said I can't because it's my battle phase. The card was there for over 1 turn already, so it shouldn't be a problem, right? :S
