Ray Allen for Mayo would have been amazing for the Celtics but terrible for Memphis, who knows maybe now mayo is a FA he might just sign with the Celtics

If anything, Mayo is a (very) poor man's Allen. The only thing Mayo has going for him is age. He isn't even trade bait for the Grizz now given he's a FA after this year. If the Grizz were serious about contending, I absolutely would have flipped Allen for Mayo. I'm not even sure the Grizz will match offers for OJ. I think Mayo is a RFA this year Chief so the Grizz can match offers for him: O.J. Mayo, Memphis Grizzlies – $5.6 million – Restricted ($7.4 million Qualifying Offer).

Even if they could find the money for mayo, the next year they wouldnt have enough to keep Tony Allen, who is a bigger loss than Mayo. Also i don't think Ray allen would fit the fast paced offense of Tony allen, conley mayo cunninham and gay. And Mayo isn't that bad compared to Allen,, he's only averaging like 2 points less a game and getting like 7-8 minutes less a game, so i think he's pretty solid in comparison.

Yeah had a look at the Grizz cap space and it isn't great. They have a few RFA they could waive to free up some cash for FA signings but I guess it depends on what's out there and what they think they might need. Allen might be out of reach for them as I imagine there will be quite a few contenders that wouldn't mind making a play for him.

I think mayo makes up a bit in scoring not just shooting so that's why i said hes still solid in compassion, i'm not saying hes on the same level but i don't think the gap is as large as most people think. I think Mayo is going to find a team that wants him to start, someone like phoenix, golden state or minnesota

Magic center Dwight Howard has called team owner Rich DeVos to tell him that he won't play for coach Stan Van Gundy anymore, WKMG in Orlando reported. But multiple league sources directly affiliated with the Magic and Howard disputed the television report to ESPN.com's Michael Wallace. "It's a completely made-up, B.S. story," one of Howard's representatives told ESPN.com. Howard missed his sixth straight game with a back injury Wednesday against the Celtics, and Van Gundy already has said that he is preparing for his big man to miss the rest of the season and the playoffs. Howard is still upset that Van Gundy publicly said this month that Howard asked management to have him fired, sources told WKMG. According to the report, the 86-year-old DeVos took Howard's call in his suite at Amway Center sometime during the Magic's 109-81 loss April 13 against the Atlanta Hawks. Two sources told ESPN.com, though, that Howard did not reach out to DeVos in such a fashion. Howard's relationship with Van Gundy has been strained for months. Sources indicate that Howard will be re-evaluated next week by team doctors to determine his playoff availability. Howard's recovery from the injury, more so than any difficulties with Van Gundy, will factor into whether Howard is able to return to the court this season, sources told ESPN. Uncertainty has dogged the Magic for quite some time. Howard asked management for a trade in the preseason, but after months of speculation, he signed a waiver of the opt-out clause in his contract, meaning that he would remain under contract to Orlando at least through next season.

Some achievement :p, Pacers locking the third seed feasting on the Bucks during the final run in. I want to think they have an upset in them against the top 2 but I have a hard time feeling that way.
