There was just an article about how he's increased his shooting % by shooting closer to the basket. That said, D-Will was clearly off towards the end of the game and I don't think anyone else on the floor was remotely good (maybe Carmelo) so maybe if I'm Lebron I take the shot.
However, Michael Jordan to Steve Kerr is the correct response in that situation. Yes, he's the best player on the court, but he's probably not the best 3 point shooter on the court.
Lebron taking a guarded 3 is always the wrong choice (unless its the end of the clock). He has only ever made those consistently in 2 times during his life: During his sick 2007 Pistons playoff series (promptly dried up ans swept by Spurs) and last years 2011 Bulls series (dried up vs. Mavs as well).
I dont think they really care, all LBJ said was "I shouldn't turn the ball over like that" he didn't say "I was scared to shoot" or anything of the such. No clue how an all star game in which they most likely did not want to play more (they went for the win, not a tie) and they don't have proper coaching or anything of the sort, as any bearing to wether Lebron is clutch or not.

This almost seems like a first in an All-Star game that I can recall of.
It's almost a non-issue.
Kobe's played through much worse injuries even this season. He'll keep playing.
While Derrick Rose deserves to be a starter, I can't think of anyone who looks more out of place during those introductions ;p It looked exactly the same last year too, everyone was dancing & jumping around while D-Rose just stood there looking so shy and sooo awkward! Gotta love him though, that kid will never change!

He looks awkward (and he that said during last years ASG when the other Eastern All-Stars tried to make him dance during the intro), because he's not a showman off court like the other guys, the ASG is all about antics, goofing around and that sort of stuff.. not being the utmost professional - D-Rose plays basketball, and that's it (and I love him for it!) :D

The amount of antics that those players do is why half the population wants nothing to do with the NBA. Of NBA fans only like 10% enjoy the bizarre dances and wearing prescription-free glasses, the rest of us just suffer through it so we can watch the games.
Rose is maybe a bit too subdued for the mainstream (plus the stache...) but being a bit more subtle like Pierce or Duncan certainly couldn't hurt guys like Lebron who just engage in so much shenanigans.
Difference is that Shaq knows when to be professional and when its time to goof around. A lot of NBA players just dont know how to be professional.
The allstargame is a time to have fun, so DRose could have loosened up a little but can't hold that against him. He's just not that guy. The way he handles wins, losses and interviews; most NBA players could learn a lot from him in that area.

OH dear, god forbid people goof around and have fun on TV on all star weekend! Why can't professionals be human too once in a while?

You couldn't be more wrong. This era of NBA players are all about being professional. But I guess if you're complaining about guys having fun during All-Star break you probably don't understand anyway.
