Lol @ Kobe trash talking Lebron for taking the ball out rather than taking the last shot. I think lebron is being called out for his lack of performance in the clutch.

Meh, I don't think it was trash talk, it seemed like kobe was disappointed in lebron for not taking the big shots and more or less motivating him to. But yeah, lebron seems afraid of taking the game winners now. Like, he was the hottest player in the game and he decides to pass up the ball with 5 seconds left and then he inbounds for the last shot.

all stars game is only worth watching the last quarter. shame really. they need to put more on the line and i agree with what a lot of writers out there say, mimick the MLB and winner gets home court advantage in the finals

So people think a face-up 3 pointer with a guy right in your face is really the best possible play Thibs could come up with during a timeout?

I think the criticism is opened up by Kobe and Lebron himself on it. All star games are meaningless, but he obviously wasn't thrilled with his own decision. Neither option was very good.

Then again, taking Kobe's advice for last shots may not be helpful either.

Thib drew up a really nice play though, and Howard's hilarious moving screen set it up nicely.

Correction. He is the best player on that team. It is actually much smarter for him to make a selfish play than beam the ball the opposite corner of the court to a guy that wasn't even open. He has the best athletic ability to create a shot for himself.
