I think Lebron's biggest problem, and it's a nitpicky one, is that his offensive game is pretty unrefined. I don't love him in isolation(as much as I should, I guess, he's still excellent) or even in a two man game with Wade. When I say "offensive game" I mean scoring, primarily; he's a wonderful passer. I think he's just not a "natural" scorer. He isn't like Durant or Carmelo - he doesn't have a Lebron-"move." That's a lot of quotation marks...I mean he's still the best player in the game but no one is perfect. Actually his go to move is that dribble, jab step, stutter to the left quickly and step back for a jumpshot. Almost ungaurdable. The move Chris Paul hit him with though in the end of regulation was absolutely GOD like though. Somewhat of the same thing except instead of just stepping back for a jumper, Chris Paul brung the ball back to his right, froze Lebron, burst forward and took a shot that almost went in. Unreal. Jordan got heaps of shit for being a ball hog etc who couldn't elevate the play of his teammates to win when it mattered. But as we know he started winning and everyone quickly changed their tune. Kobe copped the same flack when Shaq left and it turned around after 09. Same will happen for Lebron. A lot of the Lebron hate I think also stems from the fact he's so good. I was a massive Sonics fan back in the day and I HATED Jordan and the Bulls pretty much due to the fact they were so good. People are always going to hate on Lebron after what happened with the Cavs, but he'll quickly turn public opinion if he wins that elusive Chip (probably this year). This. Remember before The Decision, and before losing to one of the most dominant teams of all time (The Celtics) Lebron could do no wrong. That's the only thing about his narraritive that differs from Jordan and Kobe. TO's are also probably the least of the knick's worries now as they found their needed PG and lowering your TO's is something you can always work on. Meh he'll bring it down. Damn near impossible for him to keep turning it over that much. Some of it is just building chemistry with teammates and some of it is forcing plays that he shouldn't. He's smart so he'll figure out what plays to abuse on what mismatches in due time.

Great shot today, when they got the tip out and Lin looked back to D'Antoni who called an ISO for him, I was getting butterfly's in my stomach. As soon as the hands of Lin came up to start waving people off, you could feel him about to make a shot. The fact that it was a three was even better.

They're both players who dominate the ball, we really don't know what will happen when Carmelo comes back. Lin's played this way his whole career, there's no way to know if he adjusts down to taking 10-15 shots per game. The fact that it was a three should make you nervous. It's nice drama, but you don't want him taking that shot at the end of a tied game. Simply drive and get the foul, or cross up and shoot is probably more makeable for him.

That said, the Knicks have been feasting on some poor defenses and have had one of the easiest schedules in the league. I somewhat hope they mesh together quickly because when they have to go up against the top tier defensive powerhouses soon...things are going to get ugly.

The major thing going for Lin, and the Knicks, is that their team isn't whole yet. So any scouting reports that cause for focus on Lin probably are going to take a while to really have impact. So shop Carmelo for some actual depth, so Lin doesn't have to play 45 minutes a game on back to back nights.
