Nothing is for sure for the heat til they stop relying on bad jumpers.

They will figure it out eventually like they have been doing the entire year. They just need more refinement. I don't even want to imagine how much better they will be next year.

feel like the bulls are the only ones that are gonna be able to stop the heat now
dallas doesn't have the defense to stop the big 3 and basically if lebron and wade get it going it's gonna be 06 all over again

? How come Shaq played only 4 minutes?
Another injury?

Remember when I said that 1 for 19 in close games stat is useless?

Another injury? He isnt in game shape to make a difference outside of matchup exploitation, which he has no impact on in this series.

Man, such a frustrating loss for Boston. That sucks.

Man, the Grizz just look spry and strong. They are outhustling and outmuscling the Thunder, which shouldn't be happening.

It's kinda too early, but...
+ Show Spoiler +Dallas Miami rematch in the Finals anyone?

The sample size is just so big, of course there's going to be some disputes when you look at the top .000000000000000001% ever. silly, but fun
How is Russell under Kareem? He's the only guy you could argue was greater than Jordan. Jordan Russell Magic Bird rest is messy
Russell's the greatest Boston athlete of all time, he has to be higher than Bird.
I guess if you take away titles and look more at carrying a (non-superstar) team through winning seasons, Dirk can take a shot at Bird.

Defense against bigs. Miami's elite players are on the wing, and Bosh won't be afraid to chase Dirk out on the perimeter.
Dallas really does not have a matchup advantage against Miami like they did against LAL.

Hopefully Dallas gets a more legit shot than in 06. The officiating in that series was embarrassing.

How do you not have Marovich in your top 10? He would absolutely destroy in today's NBA as well.

KG made the difference in that game. 1 for 10 ... not good at all

Okay so I'm really curious.....
Why was it so important that OKC grabbed Kendrick Perkins? He gets like no points in almost every game.
I realize he's not there for points, he's a good center for defense/rebounds/size/the threat, yeah i get it.....
And yet I just checked the box score, and it says he's only played like 8 minutes with 0 pnts. I just don't get it.... if KP is such a great player to have on the team, why not keep him there longer? Also, if it's a PF issue, then how come they have him in the first place?
Not saying anthing bad about Perkins, I'd just really appreciate if ppl could explain.... it just seems to me like, Perkins has all this hype but he doesn't deliver. Please understand I am NOT trying to be ignorant, I am genuinely confused

He's not only a good 1 on 1 defender but he's also really good at rotating and picking up open players. So if you have a PnR situation with a ball handler coming to the paint, while Perkins isn't lightning quick he's big enough and fast enough to stay in front of his guy.
When you have wing players constantly crashing the lane a guy that can rotate with a giant wingspan is a blessing. When players like Lebron are always trying to buckle your D a guy like that makes getting off lay ups hell. Like I said before the fact that he's good at rotating means trying to pass in traffic also becomes a nightmare.
But Perkins is only as effective as his team is defensively. Him + KG was just a monstrous defensive front court. Him + Ibaka just aren't there, yet.

They got him for the Lakers in order to combat their size. Not unlike the Mavs grabbing every available seven footer. He isn't great, he's big and strong and knows how to play defense. They also got him for the overvalued Jeff Green and the Clips 2012 pick, which isn't a huge price for a very nice piece.
