The officiating in that series was embarrassing. Why was it so important that OKC grabbed Kendrick Perkins? He gets like no points in almost every game. I realize he's not there for points, he's a good center for defense/rebounds/size/the threat, yeah i get it..... And yet I just checked the box score, and it says he's only played like 8 minutes with 0 pnts. I just don't get it.... if KP is such a great player to have on the team, why not keep him there longer? Also, if it's a PF issue, then how come they have him in the first place? Not saying anthing bad about Perkins, I'd just really appreciate if ppl could explain.... it just seems to me like, Perkins has all this hype but he doesn't deliver. Please understand I am NOT trying to be ignorant, I am genuinely confused | ||

When you have wing players constantly crashing the lane a guy that can rotate with a giant wingspan is a blessing. When players like Lebron are always trying to buckle your D a guy like that makes getting off lay ups hell. Like I said before the fact that he's good at rotating means trying to pass in traffic also becomes a nightmare. But Perkins is only as effective as his team is defensively. Him + KG was just a monstrous defensive front court. Him + Ibaka just aren't there, yet. | ||

He isn't great, he's big and strong and knows how to play defense. They also got him for the overvalued Jeff Green and the Clips 2012 pick, which isn't a huge price for a very nice piece. | ||
