At this point, I wouldn't count any team out. Even though I love how Dallas is playing, I think they'll have some matchup problems against Memphis.

I say SCREW Gasol for the stuff he did. Which is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Seriously GO BACK TO SPAIN! We need to begin rebuilding... already. after 3 years, gasol leads the lakers to get swept by the mavs. everyone else did all they needed to. Bryant, Bynum, Artest. Well, maybe no the defense on Dirk, but still. At this point, im being mocked at school (live in NJ, die hard laker fan) and lose hope in the Lakers... excuse me, Pau Gasol. Trade him, get rid of him, I DONT CARE. just make sure he finds a new team to choke on. thank you have a nice day.

As for the Mavs... well I'm glad to see I was right for a change ![]() ![]() But more seriously, I don't understand why Kobe went in chucking mode from the start. It's not like the Mavs won by a lot in the previous games, why didn't they keep the same game plan? Ok Gasol was horrible, but Bynum was the best player for LA. How could they give him so few touches!

Chicago's 3 wins over Miami were by a combined total of 9 points, so it's hard to draw conclusions from that.

We'll trade you Gasol for Richard Jefferson and Matt Bonner if you want.

How could they give him so few touches! In all the games this series, the same thing has happened. Kobe makes a few jumpers and thinks he can make them all game. But Kobe really hasn't played that badly this series. Been pretty efficient in his scoring. Laker defense has been terrible though. Part of it is Dirk's awesome passing and awareness but still, lakers have been very lazy on closing out on shooters.

The defense of the Lakers was just horrible. They practically did nothing to stop Dallas from scoring those 3-pointers. And to put all the blame on Gasol is just stupid. You can't blame him for literally every Laker missing the easiest shots and for Bryant trying to do everything on his own and thus passing way to late to the others.

Keep in mind Gasol is an All-Star caliber player. He did not play like one since the first half of the season, but it's in there somewhere. I'm a Nets fan btw so it's not like I'm some Mavs fan heaping it on lol

If Dallas meets Memphis, it could go either way in a hard fought series.
