Great game last night. Some quick thoughts:
1. DAL shot VERY well from behind the arc last night. I guess they were bound to average out after missing so many earlier in the series, but I don't know if they can shoot that lights out again against MIA, a team that defends the 3 quite well usually.
2. Lebron has disappointed thus far, but he's fully capable of turning things around (which is a large part of why he's being criticized so much). If he does, and if Wade isnt affected too much by his hip injury, DAL could be in trouble. The games have all been close, and Lebron has yet to do anything in crunch time. If he does what he's fully capable of, the Heat could very easily have enough to win the next two.

people keep finding excuses to say why DAL wins. "threes are just going in, they cant shoot like that forever." is just one of the main ones. the Dallas bench has barely showed up all series but when they come with strength in 1 game everyone is quick to say it wont last.

I was extremely impressed with all the players last night. Especially Brian Cardinal. He may have seemed to impact the game very little, but in reality he kept Dallas in the game while Dirk was resting. Peja couldn't do that, so that's why Cardinal is ahead of Peja in the rotation now.
Great win. Let's close it out in 6!

So I wasn't able to catch the first 5 games live but now i have time to watch the last (2) game(s). But it's really difficult to watch these games live in germany, so i just wanted to ask if there are other people from germany (or maybe other countries with similar problems) who watched the previous games and can give me an advice on where to watch (via stream)? Would be nice if you could just send me a PM.

Completely unrelated but every time I see Mike Miller I think "whoa DjWheat is playing for the heat?"

But I took the time last night, and WOW what a game.
That was crazy exciting. The various sports news sites have done a really good job hyping it as "big bad Miami" versus the underdog, so it was easy to just hop in to the game rooting for Dallas.
One thing confused me though...its a 7 game series, in hockey you do 2 games in a row in each city, and then alternate, so a series of 7 will go like this (Assuming Vancouver placed higher in the regular season than Boston):
Game 1: Van Game 2: Van Game 3: Bos Game 4: Bos Game 5: Van Game 6: Bos: Game 7: Van
So if Miami has home-court advantage in the series, I'm confused as to why game 5 was in Dallas. Help my confusion! Games 1/2 - Miami Games 3-5 - Dallas Games 6/7 - Miami So had Dallas managed to win game 1 or 2, they essentially get the advantage despite not placing as high in the regular season? Interesting. Definitely saves on travel costs/time. This is true regardless of whether it is split 232 or 22111. Split the first two games and what's left is a bo5 with the second team having 3 games at home.

Don't they have ESPN internationally?
You could do a google search for a stream: myp2p forum nba
It shouldn't be too hard to find from there, but I'm not sure how reliable these streams are. I've used them before for international sporting events that aren't shown in the US, and they can be hit or miss.

Games are not being shown on ESPN to my knowledge, they are being shown on ABC. ABC was doing re-broadcasts of games online, but these were happeneing like 1-2 days later. ESPN is doing radio broadcasts, which is how I listen to the games.
As opposed to ESPN and TNT who were covering the previous rounds and had live web broadcasts of their games.

Cardinal is ridiculously aggressive, probably even excessively. Too bad he couldnt draw those 3 hard charges instead he stepped aside and called for blocking fouls.
edit: And Barea was impressive.

Finally Nowitzki is getting the support from Dallas, Terry and Barea especially did a great job in game 5. Magnificent shooting from the Mavs.
Sure LeBron is making plays, but still he should be scoring more.
And it kind of felt like both teams defenses crumbled in game 5, not just the Heat's, but it was still a very exciting game.

Even tho ABC and ESPN are both owned by Disney and Germany is the largest economy in Europe. How can they not capitalize on this opportunity?

Please win Dallas, the universe needs Miami to lose.

And the polls agree with you.

Because virtually no one watches anything other than soccer in Germany.Out of my friends there are probably 3 people who know any other player than Nowitzki . I think the games are shown on sky sports by the way the big sports cable station here.

It's spains faultt that the NBA is not shown in germany. NBA don't sold the rights to german tv-channels because they are watchable in spain and the spain tv-channel doesn't want competition.

Hmm... I'm torn. I do want Dirk, Kidd, and my all time favorite player Ryan Cardinal to win the champ, but i also would love to see the reaction of sports fans if Miami won. The level of hatred for the Heat would be like something we havent seen since white churchgoers and the Fab Five (no good jive talking PUNKS!!!) but on a deeper, universal level. Oh the entertainment!
