Lebron's fourth quarters are killing the Heat. He is not scoring at all yet his time with the ball is roughly the same. Therein lies the issue you know. If he was just passing all the time and put up those garbage fourth quarter numbers it wouldn't be as bad.

LeBron has known to be a huge choker in the 4th quarter, and that certainly hasn't changed this finals at all. And I'm not too impressed with the assist number. For someone that's supposed to be considered the best in the NBA, and isn't even being double teamed (they even had jason kidd on him in a possession in the fourth and he decided to settle for a shitty 3, WTF), he's awfully passive and deferring way too much to his less than stellar teammates. Unless Wade channels his inner god on sunday, it's over in 6

Prediction - Heat win game 6, Dallas wins a epic game 7. This is the best finals in a long time.

As for Lebron, I thought he wasn't that bad honestly. I understand it's the finals and they are under ridiculous scrutiny but he made good passes, rebounded well and was efficient most of the game. I disliked the bad jumpers he took though.

Hell what's being said on the floor by Shawn Marion must be criminal compared to that. ETA: This isn't even about Lebron choking, Miami's record in close games. None of that. This really comes down to 1 simple fact: Lebron James is not going to the rim consistently. That is the end all problem with him. Even if Dallas is making it difficult, when Jason Kidd or Jason Terry are on him he has to ABUSE them.

Kidd is a very good defender on the perimeter, he doesn't make it that easy to go to the rim. He is small though, so he has a hard time defending the kind of shots that Lebron did take. What he did made sense, the problem is that he's not a reliable shooter. You can't join the "unstoppable" club if you don't have an outside shot. The thing is, up until the finals, his jump shot was dead on. He was shooting a really, really good percentage all playoffs, and especially in the 4th quarter. You people so soon forget how well he closed out almost every single game in the Chicago series. Its like he's allergic to the finals. This isn't the Lebron I know, this is his evil, lethargic, crappy twin brother.

Kidd is a good defender, but he can't defend Lebron James 10 ft from the hoop. Even on the perimeter Lebron should just blow by him but he's setting. Look at the amount of problems Dallas has when Wade is being guarded by Kidd - it's a meltdown. They are hiding Jason Kidd and Jason Terry on LEBRON JAMES. That is just a match up he should be milking all day. I agree with your last statement to a certain extent. He's still "unstoppable" but only if he plays that way. He has a jump shot, the problem is he is taking too long deciding on whether he wants to shoot, drive or pass.

But I took the time last night, and WOW what a game. That was crazy exciting. The various sports news sites have done a really good job hyping it as "big bad Miami" versus the underdog, so it was easy to just hop in to the game rooting for Dallas. One thing confused me though...its a 7 game series, in hockey you do 2 games in a row in each city, and then alternate, so a series of 7 will go like this (Assuming Vancouver placed higher in the regular season than Boston): Game 1: Van Game 2: Van Game 3: Bos Game 4: Bos Game 5: Van Game 6: Bos: Game 7: Van So if Miami has home-court advantage in the series, I'm confused as to why game 5 was in Dallas. Help my confusion!

Dirk never complained about fever or anything. He just said stuff like 'you gotta pull through'. He never was like 'Hey I'm sick and I still rule'. That's what the press said. So why make fun of the nicest guy in the world. Dbags is probably the right term here. Hope Dallas kicks some tail next sunday

I still can't see Miami losing this simply cause Wade/Lebron/Bosh got together to win championships and they got to the Finals their FIRST year. Wade has been doing everything he possibly can to will this team and Bosh has been doing as well as you can expect for a Top 15 player in his first Finals. Lebron though for all the crap about winning championships has just not been playing Finals basketball for a guy with his talent. It's just mind boggling. Lebron still has the power to wipe out everything about his 4th quarter if the Heat win the Finals. Does he want it enough...
