Not yet. The dude still hit a 3, and got 2steals tonight. I'd hold off to see just how he plays with Steph Curry in the lineup for at least a week. Besides, who do you think you can get for him?

Also just checked their stats. Even though Wright had a terrible shooting night he still had 13 shot attempts and Steph got 17. Wait it out unless you really think you can get an awesome player for him.

In other news, Steve Nash is killing one of my fantasy teams with his high TOs and low assist nights (for him).

I was gonna see if I can get Curry lol, or a decent forward. I was gonna package Wright with Luol Deng or Louis Williams or Richard Jefferson. I'm not too bothered by tonight, like you said his line was still good considering how much he contributed in other categories despite being off offensively. He also had two blocks I think last night. I'm just worried if Wright will still get to take as many 3s with Curry back. But if he can be above average in steals/blocks with a good % while still getting 15-18pts a night then that's definitely good enough.

I have been trying to trade Nash since I drafted him but there's really no one else who can get as many pts and assists aside from guys drafted higher than him. If you can get Curry for Nash straight up would you think about it? What about Nash for Wall?

I would do Curry for Nash because Curry is a 1st rounder in drafts. Curry will be inconsistent and Nash will blow him out of the water in assist numbers and %s(barely) but Steph will be slightly or flat out better everywhere else.

Both shoot high FT%, but it's better for Curry since he will generate more attempts.
Curry will of course dominate in Steals.
Nash for Assists.
Both will kill you in TOs naturally but Nash has been insane so far.
Both shoot 3s at a good rate but I'd take Steph here.
Steph also rebounds well for a guard.

That said unless the owner is a dupe or is worried about injury to Steph you'd have to get lucky. Then again it's early in the season so Nash should be fine.

I wouldn't trade for John Wall at all unless you wanted a poor man's Rondo with a dip in FG% and Assists but a rise in points and TOs. However if someone offered you Rondo for Nash unless you were really hurting in 3s I'd go for it.

I picked Nash over Rondo "accidentally" in one of my drafts because I was looking at FT% forgetting that Rondo doesn't even shoot that many. Now my team is suffering in Assists, Turnovers and Steals. Talk about a bad, bad move.

I proposed two trades in my h2h weekly league, Deng + Richard Jefferson for Gerald Wallace, and Deng + Jefferson for Blatche. I'm trying to get rid of Deng for a better forward before Boozer comes out, but there doesn't seem to be many to choose from. Richard Jefferson is off to a hot start but he has only contributed in pts % 3ptm so far.

Things I did not expect early his season:

Both Amare and Nash have suffered in efficiency. Felton has slightly higher APG than Nash does and 2x as good assist:turnover numbers. Amare seems to be better at elevating his team.

Greg Monroe has the 4th best rebounding rate in the NBA.

Elton Brand may recover from his setbacks, yet 76ers blow hard.

I caught a tiny bit of the game and from the commentary it seemed like they were facing a zone and could not shoot 3 pointers?

IMHO they are way better than the team last year even if they are not great yet. I love a lot of their minor players (Mozgov, Chandler, Fields, Douglas). They actually have good team defense stats this year and have Amare drawing double teams before he has the ball in his hands. I'm hopeful ^_^

The Knicks have only played 2 playoff teams so far and they look good because of how terrible they've looked in recent years. Aside from that blistering 3pt shooting night in Chicago they still look like fodder for the decent to good teams.

eh i think you should have expected amare to drop off in production, and without anyone to finish at the rim like amare it doesn't shock me TOO much that nash's effectiveness has dropped

Not sure if I'd give up Wright for West. Unless you have a lot of other 3 point shooters you're basically conceding that category for 2 more rebs per night.

I really hope Richard Jefferson has another hot week so I can package him with Deng for Bargnani or maybe Gerald Wallace.

I'd take David West if you're having efficiency concerns. But Dorrel Wright has been a god damn MONSTER so far. No idea how much longer he keeps it up but I would have held on to him over D.West unless you're already stacked and really needed the big man.

Then again now that Steph Curry is back who knows how much longer Wright can produce at the level he has been.
