Statistically Rondo is better, but I think if you give Rose another year or two, he'll be just as good/better than rondo esp once he learn how to shoot. Rondo is a absolutely horrid FT shooter as a guard so I can't say I have hope for him to develop a shot. I'd take Paul > Rondo > Rose currently in that order though.
I can't help but feel that the new rules in the NBA (aka them calling touch fouls) is making these new point guards look way better than they are. I mean right now there's at least a good 5 PG that I would consider elite (DWilliams, Paul, Rondo, Rose, Nash) and a few more that I'd consider very close to elite (westbrook, kidd, wall, parker, curry). I don't think I've ever seen so many good PGs in the league... ever.
Also Jeff Van Gundy is absolutely the best commentator ever. Usually I don't even recognize/care who the commentators are but damnit Van Gundy is so random and funny. Plus he's a ex-coach who really knows what he's talking about and he really seem to like being a commentator.

both have horrid jumpers. rondo is more creative, better passer, more intelligent, runs his offensive amazingly. rondo is a better defender.
people say that rose is a better scorer than rondo... i dunno, i think if you watch the games where rondo actually takes over he is deadly. The guy gets into the paint at will just like rose.
The difference is, the celtics have a more disiplined offense, better players for rondo to pass to. Rose is forced to shoot almost every trip down the floor.
anyways, i could go all day but in short form : rondo over rose anyday
Rondo is better for the Celtics than Rose would be. Rose is better for the Bulls, and probably most teams.

Who was arguing that Bargs was a good rebounder earlier? Because he is atrocious.

it certainly wasnt me :D He could(should) average 10-12 in an offensive scheme like torontos (race to 140) Demar will probably be a 15 pts, 7-9 boards a game next year just from the opportunity that arises with Barg being such a terrible rebounder.
|
I just realized how low his rebounding rate was...like you would think there was a wall of opposing players keeping him from getting a board at the rate he's going.
|
Bargnani can score but thats IT, he doesn't rebound, doesn't jump, help defense non existent. He just doesn't care IMO.

jesus, who's watching utah-heat.... PAUL MILLSAP is fucking insane hahaa..
hits 3 3's, putback at the last second to send the game into OT.
I've had him on my fantasy team for 3 years, GLAD TO HAVE HIM!

That put-back was so sick and he did it so "easy game" style.
Two awesome comebacks from the Jazz. Shame Williams is fouled out.
|
Deron Williams fouling out is really hurting the Jazz, they have no play makers out there other than CJ Miles

No ball movement from the Heat, just isolation plays for Wade and James.

holy shit that block from bosh
OMG

lol what the... elson banks in the ft while trying to miss it on purpose, wtfux oo!
really great game though
|
lol fail by elson. I expect a lob to Wade
|
wow what a CRAZY game.
Good thing I drafted both Wade and Milsap in a league.
Really weird seeing Francisco Elson in the game.
|
So even Bosh/Wade/James can't pull out 4 home game wins to start the season for the Heat.
And his name is Francisco Elson not Elson Banks.
