I guess you save some time on stashing/deleting chars, kinda silly.

It is to preserve your /played time mainly I believe. So instead of having 2 monks at 50h played you can have 1 at 100h. Just a stat thing.

With seasonal legendaries gone, is there any reason to stay on the seasonal ladder after all the achievements? I'm tempted to go back to non-season after getting the achievements/stash space.
With the reset, I just passed plvl800 and got to the point where the plvls became very relevant, I'd rather attempt GRs from that point onward.

Saving character slots, which cost Blizzard about 20k of hd space each...max. They could just give you 100 of them, right? Pretty stupid 'feature' to include in your video.

Looking forward to playing a Demon Hunter on EU Hardcore

Season also rewards stash tab(s). I think everyone wants that.
Plus if you like cosmetics, the free pet is easy enough to achieve and appeals to some people.

Horray!!! :D

I just don't play enough for season to make sense. I wouldn't get to the end game builds, let alone hit all the achievements needed to get the stash space.
It was annoying to hear about all these awesome combos, but not be able to use them as they hinged on that single build-enabling season-only item. And I couldn't use them next season either, because by then some other build was more OP, and previous seasons awesome combo wasn't relevant any more. :/

I think starting over in a season is fun, because you're on the same line as other people. That means when you group up, it's unlikely that you'll be several magnitudes lower power level as the rest of the group and are being carried all the way through.

If your full on character slots you need to stash items and delete a character to make a new season character. Now you dont have to do that anymore and you can turn one into a seasonal character and have the stashing be done automatically.

Getting the achievements/stash space probably won't take very long, after that there's very few incentives to stay there and grind back to high enough plvl imo. I think I will make a seasonal crusader and quickly grind out all the free stuff and stop.
Rolling a char into seasonal doesn't stash stuff for you. Items go into the "mailbox" and has to be manually claimed back within 30 days. I actually don't think it saves you any hassle. The only reason to do it is if you are interested in keeping play times/monster slayed stats.

Thats what i was talking about. If you transform a none-seasonal character to a seasonal character you will get every item the none-seasonal character had back when the season ends. Atleast if i understood it correctly.
So if you make all your none-seasonal chracters seasonal you will get every item back when the season ends.

Not motivated to play non-season but still undecided on what char I want to play tomorrow I got the brilliant idea to try the new Invoker set on my old crusader as that is one of the options. Had to gamble the whole set. DMG-wise I'm missing out on the ring/amulet set, all three recommended items for kanais cube and the correct shield (using zodiac in the cube to simulate it as good as possible.) Getting the legendary thorns gem was a huge boost to my pity dmg. aoe dmg with my gear seems pretty lacklustre and of course you notice whenever coe reaches the correct phase.
Did anybody here already try both the thorns set and the demon hunters shadow set? I get the impression that they could play somewhat equal in that they might want to skip trash and go for elites?! Demon Hunter having the mobility advantage while survivability should be far superior on the crusader.

Any advice on what to roll for the wand in the link below? Vit to dmg%, or re-roll dmg(it goes up to 1900s).
