You can't say "China is decent at this game" when no one else plays it.

What!? So we can't say America's decent at American football when basically no one else plays it? What does that make NFL/superbowl then?

I'm not talking about Warcraft 3 not being an eSport. I'm talking about it not being a current game internationally. You want to argue that it is current for China, okay, but then you can't say China is a top region in it because there are no other regions.

You could say it but it is an useless statement. When no other region plays a sport/eSport, there is no way to measure your region's skill.

He is trying to make a point that China are not competitive in the international stage when facing competition , you are saying they are the best at the game they are playing alone , its not the same discussion even....

now that's unfair... until recently 2015-2016 they were almost always 2nd to best in all the major genres they participate in while the game was current.
dota2 they only really fall off i would say after the rise of PPD's EG 2015-2016

You just changed the question that I was answering. Someone asked which esport china is good at and WC3 is definitely an answer.

Because the statement that they're decent at Warcraft 3 is completely useless. It's an answer that isn't an answer.
