Well, aside from all the semantics, WC3 also has a Korean and Russian scene that are slowly being resurrected, online tournaments such as gera cup, and even some good English casters in Back2Warcraft. So the argument doesn't stand in case of wc3. Also, good morning everyone, why the hell has there been only one series so far?

Back when Koreans were the only ones who played it, I'd make the exact same argument. You can't say they're the top region, unless there were other regions to compete with.

Chinese caught back once they could play the game, remember they usually have a small delay (2 3 years) to massively play games because of their subpar computers. They eventually came out on top. And let's not forget that the only teams which could compete with the Chinese were just na'vi and later alliance for a very long time. Don't make it sound like TI4 was 5 years ago.
