First - you face off EG. If you lose, you are playing Bo1 against Newbee. And even if you won that match - you are facing Secret/OG in a Bo3. So, you should clench your teeth and try to beat EG. This is really unfair bracket. Imagine if Fnatic got seeded against OG instead. If you lose, you face VP, ha! And after that you got to play Secret in a Bo3. Shit is at least twice as comfortable. On a side-note, EHOME only need to overcome exposed [A] in a Bo1 to go hella deep. LGD and Liquid present no problem whatsoever in a Bo3. This major and its tournament system really sucks, luck prevails over the skill: 2-5 groups standing team has much better chances than a 4-4 one. Thrid placers are the real winners of the groups. WB R1 losers are the real losers of the tournament.

Now is a fantastic time for an organization to have a large tourney in South Korea to gain some market there. Honestly, at this point China is a lost cause. The players dont give a shit, organizations dont give a shit, but at least the fans are passionate. Its a dark time for Dota.

Actually, I am not sure EG => Newbee => Secret/OG is that much scarier than OG => VP => Secret, if that is what you are saying.

Okay, they are playing EG, who looked good, but not really sure that it the toughest draw you can get for the Quarterfinal. So Newbee is now super scary? Probably the second worst team still in the tourney past Col. And Alliance are just some pushovers? Just won the key tournaments and were considered a top contender. You followed ANY dota in the past months?

You followed ANY dota in the past months? that being said, I do find it quite stupid that there's no way to swap around in the tree at all. The top tree-side, both upper and lower bracket, really seemed a lot easier early on. You have all of Archon, Team Spirit and complexity in there. I'm pretty sure most people thought that MVP being in upper bracket makes it easier as well before they started owning stuff left and right. It should incorporate some swapping around between the upper and lower tree imo depending on where you get kicked out. If you're getting kicked out by EG you'll have to basicly have a game vs them again right away (assuming they get kicked out after you and you win your game). That really should send one into the lower and one into the upper part so that you get a crack at the "other part of the tree" and won't meet the guys that kicked you out unless you both make it into the LB-finals (actually nvm, it would have to be LB Round5 but point still stands). Actually, when Liquid beats MVP maybe they will get send into the bottom lower-bracket but I kind of doubt it.
