Of course not.

They're the two weaker Chinese teams, and we've already seen their "best" lose to the actual top teams in the tournament.

you wanted to go to bed like 3 hours ago

What's funny is that I did.

Did you got a nightmare that one chinese team is gonna win this match?

I did worry, for a second, that Virtus Pro could lose. But then I told myself, "when have their opponent ever done well when they needed to?" With that, I closed my eyes, and dreamed of beautiful Western victory.

5/6 on the first day for me, only Alliance being wrong. Unfortunately, Western teams are so hard to call.

Production wants to go to bed.

I think they have to be there the first tomorrow, probably the longest days on site are from them.

I feel sorry for the panel and commentators most of all. Getting like 5 hours of sleep while doing long exhausting days is going to destroy them.
At least production only has themselves to blame.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

I mean that's a pretty wrong statement
I'm sure it isn't bonnie's fault that the event staff "lost" a player's keyboard (seriously, wtf???). And that's no doubt the tip of the iceberg.

Unless "production" to you means "the entire event staff" or something

I meant it in a general sense yes, ofcourse not everyone is responsible. Not like the cameraman has control over when games start ect.

MarsTV is apparently now running the English Stream side of things, but you don't just setup an operation attached to a stadium/event like this in just a few days.

The stories from this major are going to be epic. Though the players have it easy: they just hide out in their hotel.

If all of the Chinese teams go out early, at least the lack of sound-proofing will be solved.

The problem is much deeper then the English stream. Sure audio problems and the screen being cut off ect but as you said, its not easy to get dropped in someone else's mess but the real problem is the gigantic delays between games and I doubt they are caused by the English stream team ^^

For the first day, the main issue with that was them starting two hours late and then taking 30 minutes to an hour in-between matches for players to set up. Stop starting late, and find a way around teams having to set up and test for 30 minutes, and then there will be less time spent between matches.

Aside from the Keyboard Lost thing, do we even know the reasons for those delays?

Also, I just watched Kotlguy's vlog. It's frightening how tired and disillusioned he looked and sounded. Guess if he had 2GD's temper/assholery levels, he'd have been much harsher, kudos for staying calm and polite.

tfw kotlguy's vlog looks like it has better production value than the actual tournament
Heaven's Halberd is the most criminally underbought item in Dota. Together we can stop this.
