My bro in law from China mentioned that in China if you go pro gaming, LoL attracts far more talents than dota (financial wise) ... as to why they also suck in LoL i have no idea...
dota in china from my understanding is an old boys club... the top teams rarely promotes or find new kids to mentor... now that the old boys are getting old... losing form or retiring or streaming... the problem is apparent.
Is there an E-Sport China is actually really good at?

New talent isn't even the issue these days.
It only was an issue because it showed what they were not doing in the past. But now we have an even easier way to see what they are not doing - ie practicing.

No.
They're pretty good at Hearthstone from what I remember, though they also have expertise in mobile game rip-offs of Dota and Hearthstone.

I logged in just to say, NO, just NO! They're far from pretty good, unless you mean anyone who can play at a pro-worthy level is pretty good.
And as their top player TiddlerCelestial points out, it's partly because China Hearthstone pro-gamers are lazy. Looks like it applies not just to Hearthstone.
