Personally I believe Navi plays their best when they are on heroes that they're comfortable with (dendi with puck, xbox with lifestealer and so on). Shenanigans work when you're a huge underdog and you have to take that risk. Skill-wise I don't think there's a big gap between Alliance and Navi. Granted that Alliance has been more solid and whatnot, but if both teams manage to bring their A-game then it's pretty much 50-50 for both. Nah, Alliance is 80/20 over Na'vi. EGM and Akke are a vastly superior duo than KKY and Puppey. And Bulldog vs Funnik is a no contest; Bulldog is way, way, way stronger just because he commands respect bans.

I think those two teams show that execution is still what wins games, they're better on their comfort heroes. Then there is mushii, but except him his mates still need their comfort heroes to show their best.

People are allowed to cheer for their favorite team. Why should they cheer for another team that they don't want to win? If some people in China are fans of navi good for them.

No, it's that the Chinese fans clearly show a great deal of respect towards Western teams but it's not the same when the Chinese teams come to The International. This has clearly been the case even when the Chinese teams aren't even playing fan favorites, or home teams from the USA. TI2/TI3 are perfect examples of this. Like a Chinese team could be playing some random EU team not named Na'vi and the crowd would still cheer for the EU team no matter what.
