Is there anything I could have done better? I feel like I should have gotten a HotD early on or something or a Medallion Blink dagger is good on slardar to initiate. Blink -> crush -> rape.
I'd suggest Blink -> Amp -> Crush -> Rape on lone targets for the extra crush damage from the -armor, and it should be possible to animation cancel quickly for the amp -> crush.
It depends on the hero and/or the player's reaction time, but it works best on heroes without immediate stuns/hexes like AA, Zeus, Viper or... whoever.

Does Chen's Holy Persuasion still work if the target ally is disabled?
Specifically in these 4 situations:
1) Ally in Astral Imprisionment 2) Ally cycloned either from the item or from Invoker 3) Ally is naix and after Chen casts he goes into a creep 4) Ally gets hit by Disruption from Shadow Demon after Chen casts

I believe it should. I can confirm for case 3 that naix will appear at the fountain after he infests out or the creep dies. I would imagine the same case for all others, in that after the duration of the spell wears off, the hero would appear at the fountain.

When is Vanguard a good item on Naix?

On Naix, is a very rare situational item. Usually you just get stout shield + hatchet for jungle, or stout for lane. Doesn't really fit in traditional armlet builds, if you went Midas --> Vangaurd --> Mjollnir -->BKB-->Blink--> Assault Cuirass or something, I could see it adding some tank mid-game.
Of course if everyone picks a physical damage carry in a pub, could be useful too.

I've noticed that after Shadowfiend uses his ultimate he still maintains all of his soul stacks, despite the ultimate being described as him "releasing" the souls around him. Is this just a wording goof, or is it a bug?
(NOTE: I cannot check playdota.com due to filters)

He still keeps his souls after ultimate.
He will only lose souls if he is killed.

nope this is intended.

I would never get vanguard on naix. Quite simply, you don't need the regen, and while the tank-ability is nice you don't need it (you are better served by later game items like heart, or offensive early game items like janggo and armlet). My standard build is (sometimes midas) gloves of haste for armlet, boots, armlet, treads, then Mjoll.

So just how are you supposed to go about beating a good Tinker? There just seems to be very little me or my teammates can do to stop him from just killing all of our lanes and pushing us at all times. It's not even just pushing when he's out. He just TP's back, and TP's back into the fight and does his work. I'm so lost.

Yes yes. But unless it's really one sided and we keep denying him his boots, he will get his boots eventually and there's very little I can think of beyond that unless we happen to be there at the right place and right time to get a good gank off of him, but even then.

Use downtime on tinker to push, because he will have at least 50-60% of his team's gold. Tinker stronk, but also gold whore and when he dies, his team is moderately fucked.

any tips on how to get match against better people? I'm keep getting matched with a team of 5 carries and sometimes a mid solo pudge who doesn't gank? I usually play with my friends in the weekend and we usually win, but they don't have as much freetime as I do.

What's the proper way to use Bountyhunter's track? Say you're in stealth, and you want to jump on someone, or want to engage in a team fight, how would you use it? Do you just throw it out as soon as you leave stealth, or do you wait until someone's almost dead, or what?
Also, does Bloodstone's mana regen stack with itself?
How do percent based things stack, like %increased damage, %mana regen, %health regen, etc.? Is it multiplicative, or additive?

If you're cloaked, strike first for physical backstab damage coupled with Jinada. Track immediately afterward. Use Track again as soon as it comes off cooldown on targets likely to die.
Never tested multiple Bloodstones.
Percent-based stacks are additive. http://www.playdota.com/mechanics/Hitpoints_and_Manapoints

If you're ganking, after you initiate (auto attack out of stealth) is fine. In teamfights, try to track the main focus target, and if you're not too sure, 100% ALWAYS just keep it able to cast and wait until someone is about to die. What determines an amazing BH is whether or not you track the dying people to give extra gold to your team. That is the game changer, the better you get at it, the better BH you will be.
Someone else will have to answer the other ones ><!

Percent-based stacks are additive. http://www.playdota.com/mechanics/Hitpoints_and_Manapoints I don't mean multiple bloodstones, but Bloodstone gives a 200% increase in mana regen, and 1 mana per second for each stack. I was wondering if the % increase stacked with the bonus regen on the item itself. i.e. every stack really gives 3 mana regen, not just 1.
Thanks for the answers, though, you two. :p
