Its not about faith, its just he is not as skilled as jerax. Also he will be support, when he has been playing offlane all the time.

I had faith in bulba in Liquids v1 & v2 teams, but apart from some awesome Clock plays i was not impressed. He has improved, yes, and he is an awesome guy, but when it comes to dota2 Jerax >>>>>>>>>>> Bulba by a large margin.

I just don't understand why Jerax would go anyway. If we go by what Blitz said in his blog, Jerax is humble and always willing to take criticism and improve, I don't know what could have happened to get him to leave.

unless it was the Warlock pick, that would scar me for life too

It's easy, you pick out all the things he did wrong in a game and call him bad. Every player does stuff every game you can use, it's just a matter of having a twisted enough perspective to ignore all the other things and pointing the finger at one guy.

Yeah, he's probably the best rubick historically.
The thing is he always had Puppey, or Puppey+S4 to call the shots for the team with him, those insane steals and plays the team relied on take a lot of attention, attention he'd miss when he's the clear leader of the team

Clearly Jerax is the better player mechanics and skill wise. It's all the other factors, why they probably pick up Bulba. His contributions to draft, strategy, calls, early game decisions, and different hero pool than jerax.

I do not see this happening, yes he did contribute to EG winning TI but as coach, he did nothing on EG as player, granted with another carry maybe it would have worked out, but highly unlikely


still sticking to mine: if they pick him, he will last for the first major and then...

Draft, strategy he can do as a coach. It would be terrible if Liquid settled on such an under achieving mediocre player after last year's run...

Oh well, we will still support them even if the rumours are true and he'll drag down the team back to the level where TOP10 TI is a huge success like it was last time around.

It'd be a big loss to have him Instead of Jerax, but still way better than no Liquid team so as long as we have a team, any team and this under achieving nice guy helps them stay together then disaster averted

I don't see why Bulba keeps getting propped up as some amazing drafter or strategist. He may very well be an amazing resource to have in a coaching role.

But in terms of individual play an in-game strategic contribution, he hasn't seemed to provide anything notable in all the teams he's been on, short of pushing Clockwerk into the 2013 meta.

RTZ said Bulba lead them through the early game. Kuro knows Bulba very well. If he wants bulba the player, in kuro I trust

Yeah because at TI we saw how much help Liquid needs early game, right? I guess you could always be 15k ahead at 15 minutes and not only 10k...
And if you only play Clockwerk at tier 1 level you better be good early game.
