Thats all what i was saying. I mean it's cool and all that alliance like to play with each other so much, but something is not working. If they are fine with their results then whatever. I was just asking what you guys think they will do now, i did not try to bash them...

I'm just jumping on the bandwagon, but - Guys (as in players) I know you are pretty sad / mad / frustrated right now, but for the love of god, dont disband, dont shuffle - you are an awesome team. Staying together and working to improve will only make you stronger.

Go Liquid!

I've read somewhere that Matumba has to do Military Service since it's mandatory in his country. So he should be out of competition for a while.

And i have read that he can delay it till he is 28. Also it's only 6 month long anyway. So this should not be a problem.

So for him it sounds like it's better to do it now if it's only 6 months long... I mean Zai was like an entire year out of the scene. Good to know.

I don't see why Alliance should have more reasons to make changes as Liquid has. Alliance has had their big sucess in the past. They played at the same level as Liquid on TI and lost against the same team.
The meta will most likely change after TI and both Alliance and Liquid will have new chances.
I hope that both teams will stay together and try again. The showing from Liquid was really disappointing though. I hope they have the power to go through this as a team. This kind of loss must be pretty tough to overcome cause you can easily call out the loss on the itemchoiches from Mindcontrol and Matumbaman.

This result alone hardly warrants any sort of changes from TL. To my understanding all the players are very hard working too so I don't see a real reason to make a change because of such things either.

But of course it's impossible to say what really is going on inside the team. A team can bottle up some issues and try to keep it together until TI, and if there are some issues between players it will probably come out now. But anyway from an outside perspective I don't think there is an obvious switch the team should make.

Im really curious what teamliquid will do now. It's pretty obvious, that the team doesnt work out. They had more then enough time to fix their problems, change things up, or try new stuff. But from what i mostly saw, they were more focused playing Pub games with some girls. Thats not how you win high level games. Dont get me wrong, this is not a hate Post, i really wanted liquid vs alliance in the LB.

so is my post in the alliance thread becoming a copypaste for sour alliance fans now?

the only thing that might look better for liquid is their bo3 against newbee but beside that i don't feel the team performed on a superior level than alliance.

Alliance perfomed medicore all tournament. So they placed as most people expected.
Whereas Liquid was super up and down. Not only during the whole tournament or a BO-X, but also in a single game. Totaly dominating a team for 20 min and playing like a contender and than they suddenly playing like a T 5 team. So liquid could have placed last, but also had potentail to be Top 3.
This was the difference between Alliance and Liquid in this TI, at least for me.

Lol, trust hunter_x to turn a Liquid loss into an Alliance bashing moment.

Team's always had late game issues and decision making, which isn't uncommon in a lot of teams. Only question is if the current roster can sort through those or not.

Alliance did beat EG in an incredible 75 minute comeback game tho, that was a lot better than mediocre IMO
Why are my allies so weak and pathetic?

The difference was in expectations sure , but Alliance had Fnatic on the ropes in G2 and threw it , not a liquid kind of throw which is something you dont see every day , but as far as potential i dont think Liquid has greater potential then Alliance when it comes to peaking , if i had to put money on who has the better chance at winning TI7 i would put it on the current Alliance roster as i feel they have better talent overall , they are currently lost thats for sure.
Liquid came in the best form with good understanding of the meta and they crushed out in the group stage and then in the Bo3 which speaks about their mental side , in TI3 Alliance came in great form and meta understanding and they delievered , in this TI they didnt came with those attributes on their sides and they didnt outperformed.

I'd say S4 is *way* more talented than FATA, Bulldog is on a completely different level than MC who is quite mediocre in my opinion. EGM has better plays than Kuro. I'd agree with Matu being better than Loda and JerAx is a straight up stud, that dude is incredibly talented

Kuro is for sure better than EGM.
Also s4 is underrated. Being captain and mid just doesn't work out that great. Its better if a midlaner can focus 100% on his lane/game.

u just need to see, that liquid couldn't make it to UB and get rekt so hard by fnatic, they didn't do any better than "tier2-3" Alliance.
u just need to see, that liquid only won 1 big event so far.
brutal truth.
