Bo1 against NaVi most likely... Odds on a first pick Batrider? If Kuro actually picks that first again he's clearly not cut out to be a drafter anymore. MC didn't play great (no one did) but wtf was he supposed to do against those lineups...

Well that really is an issue - second time Kuro stuck with a pick trying to prove he can make it work. Last time it was in a finals of a major lan - and they got crushed AGAIN. Now Bo1 against Na'Vi the gamble cant be bigger than that.
Also a lot of bad luck during the day, sometimes you have days like that.

But since we are now down to LB Now it is a time to have some luck...

Nah it's not just Batrider, drafts as a whole suck. Last game there was no Batrider, but there was the Alchemist once again which is just as bad if not worse (especially as an early pick). Bounty Hunter is never worth a first pick either.

Also I'm 99% sure today's drafts were cooked up completely on the fly. They had basically no synergy or concept whatsoever. Even going back to game 2 vs EHOME on day 1 which was basically unwinnable after the draft.

At this point they should just start copying other teams.

yes, they might've been a bit unlucky in some games but you forge your own luck and they did precious little for that

some might say a BO1 against Na'Vi will be easy because of previous months and I sure do hope this group stage will be a kick starter

to round this post out, let's complain a bit about the schedule again, who in their right state of mind gives a break during the weekend

normally navi should be ez, but they even lost 2-0 to secret, who have a pretty bad tournament themselves. i really hope they can solve their problems, but i dont have much faith for now...

I decided to go back to my defualt stance on TL teams. Expect nothing so you wont get disappointed. I always fared well with this. So in my eyes they are going to lose hard against Na'Vi, are not going to go on a winning streak through the lower bracket (like it happened so often before) and are not going to win against OG in the finals.

I am really sad Liquid performed so bad.

Now BO 1 and then against the loser of EB/NB. I don't think reaching Top 8 is even possible anymore.

It's possible if they get their shit together, I mean not long ago they had Newbee's number and EG wasn't even in the picture. But fuck knows what's going on internally with the team now.

That being said, it would be kind of funny if Fluff & co remain the highest placing Liquid team at TI.
