Matumba seems to step up his game a lot and he's no longer need babysitting as much. I guess this patch really bode well on his heroes pool. Mind control is still as good as ever.

Oh damn! Liquid and Secret in the same group at the major!
Will be a strong start for the tournament!
Let's see which captain found the correct ingredients for this "new" patch!

Yeah we were discussing the groups yesterday, and I have to say that I don't mind getting Secret in the group. It's a good gauge for the boys to know where they stand and even if they lose the series they have a very good shot at getting 2nd in the group. I actually don't think I'd want any other group tbh.

If you want to win this Major, you have to play against Secret sooner or later anyhow(if all going well and nothing unexpected happen). Let´s see who will be their first opponent, J. Storm should be the easier one. But nobody should be underestimated, all Teams deserved their spot at this Tournament.

Can´t wait for it and hopefully the Team will be able to play at their full strength without any health issues and/or other stuff.

Time to lock in for the next TI.

Yeah the team has been in the Netherlands bootcamping until today and I didn't hear anything about any issues whatsoever. At least not health related, didn't ask about strategies

I'm not scared of having Secret in the group but I do think there's something really wrong with how the groups were set up. Let's not forget there are two other teams that have to go against Secret and Liquid to get to the upper bracket which is pretty ridiculous.

I think it because of seeding rule like UCL football. If you are lower seed you get more chance to face the top seed. This major Liquid come in pos. 3 of EU. So it about luck and draw.

I think group seeding got screwed up because Liquid was third seed in qualifiers and only 10th place by DPC, so the only evaluation of their strength is non-DPC events. On the bright side, this means that as long as both Liquid and Secret go through to upper bracket and stay in upper bracket, they won't have a chance of meeting again until upper bracket finals. So Secret can't knock Liquid to the lower bracket again like last major.

I'm concerned Liquid tends to look a bit shaky at the start of groups, so they better not lose their first bo3. Don't let me down boys, let's go Liquid!

Last Major Liquid won half their games 4v5 Shadow was just idle farming, but when it mattered he underperformed. Miracle is here in this major, so the only question now is who will we face in the finals ?

Glad Liquid did well but those games were pretty unexciting to watch as replays. I think it's really weird that teams only played one series a day during the group stage. Not a huge fan of the format.

Again outdrafted both games, add some questionable plays and we lost again. Game two looked kind of better, but oracle absoluteley made Morph useless. Don't know why Miracle went for shotgun against oracle?!
Not to mention the lack of lockdown... This time it is OK, but next time we face Secret we have to win.

I'm not surprised by us being 2-0'd dominantly by Secret.

My main issue is with Dreamleague's choice of casters. I honestly don't think it's possible to come up with a worse pairing.

Yeah that wasn't pretty. Definitely agree with outdrafts. The Oracle pick was sooo good from Puppey.

I'll also second the complaints about the casters. You have the most hyped games of the group stage and you put in Slacks? Don't know what they were thinking. We were watching it in the Liquid office and actually switched to Khezu's stream for the second game. No one wanted to watch the main stream.

More games to grind it out and try to find a weakness in Secrets way of drafting. Can only get better, but I've said same after their beatup at the qualifiers as well. Come on Kuro, show us that you are capable of beating Puppey.

Already enough said of the casters, please drag Slacks away from the desk and let him make his bullshit useless content between the games. Bulldog is at least half serious and not clowning around all over.

There's a lack of tournaments this season, Liquid barely in attendance, and when they are they don't do well when it matters. It's really such a crap season as a fan honestly

Ehm, MDL like 2 weeks ago?

That being said, that was a disappointing day from our boys. Didn't win a single laning stage.
