Let's say EHOME, pre-Shanghai, they are a solid and strong team, but in the Major, they only manage to win against Team Archon and then lose to Alliance in the lower bracket. OG is definitely one of the strongest candidate, people keep hoping them to relive their success from the last Major, but they just crumble in front of Secret and at last lost to MVP.. EG vs Secret? Dota 2 El Clásico indeed, but Secret won too. Maybe the most important factor is our Capitan Puppan?

Always glad to see PPY, EE, Misery and Pie win too. And most importantly at least EG/Alliance didn't win. Edit: Thought this was result thread not Secret discussion as it was on the main page, oh well. : D

I assume they've worked out their problems and are happier, but Envy did say C9 was going to kick Sing even if they'd won TI4, so who's to say?

To me it felt like all players in Secret stepped up immensely individually too, or maybe it feels like that in large part because of the team just drafting and playing better as a unit. If anything I think this Frankfurt - Shanghai stretch taught this Secret that you can't just coast by not practicing and expect to win. Their edge doesn't really come from a player by player skill advantage over all other teams, but how they understand the game, how they draft etc. If I recall correctly EE said something along the lines that they had barely scrimmed at all between Frankfurt and MDL, and only started doing that after that and at their bootcamp. But I guess anything is possible. I somewhat doubt a chain reaction of changes would start in Secret though, but if hypothetically let's say EG were to implode (which I highly doubt) then who knows what sort of teams would form.
