But new chat feels odd. I mean chat rooms are flooded with spammers atm. But new chat system seems like Bnet. 0.2. What if we gonna feel alone like diablo and old sc2??? | ||

Problem is that some custom maps import characters & stuff from other games & shows. This will become an issue for valve if they monetise mods so they'd have to add restrictions wich kind of defeats the purpose of custom maps. Granted valve are really good at monetizing stuff but i wonder if they are going to try and bite off more than they can chew. | ||

Well, not exactly. None of these maps are behind a paywall. Map stamps are simply a map donation mechanic. If you like cp_steel (one of the best maps, IMHO), you can buy map stamps to give money to the map maker. Also, just having one map stamp for any map nets you a cool hat (which can be worn on any map, not just the map you donated to). I suspect that DotA 2 will have a similar map stamp mechanic, possibly even a leaderboard for the most generous donors. | ||

source 2 is a new game engine, revised, redeveloped blah blah blah basically it's source but it's better. so we can do stuff in game and game clients that we can't do before, some of the bugs and weird stuff in the old engine would be fixed in the new engine blah blah blah. you get the idea... volvo is re-releasing the game that is rewrote using a new game engine, it will break some stuff, introduce some awesome shit, probably break some other stuff... | ||
