Just watched the Leafs interviews after the game, this is a serious question, is Phenuf actually ...mentally handicapped? He really sounds like he is.

I'd be absolutely shocked if Gillis and Torts have jobs after this year, especially Torts. And as for ol' Dion, he aint the brightest.

Huge game where Colorado played like crap. I don't remember the Sharks ever outplaying their opponent this much, as the visiting team, so Colorado have nothing to cheer about. I don't really know if I should be happy or worried. Boyle was absolutely terrible and let so many good chances go to waste. Maybe it's time to move Burns back on defense. He seems like our best bet for a puck moving defenseman at this point. At the very least, he should replace Boyle as the point man for the PP.

That was worse for you lol

Toronto media is going to eat that team alive when this collapse is finally complete. This might actually be worse than the way they went out last year.

As long as the Leafs are owned by a giant unfeeling conglomerate that is already used to raping Canadians via telecom prices why would they not want to rape Leaf fans via a crap product and brutal costs? Leaf's Law: The Leafs will always disappoint. Corollary to Leaf's Law: If the Leafs do not disappoint, it will be in order to set up a bigger disappointment later.

Even then, Roy was 23487539797589 times better than Potvin ... so even that year they really had no chance. so quit yer whinin pissin' and moanin'

He may be done after this year. Still, moving Burns back to defense is not a good idea. The Sharks forward depth is already pretty thin (for a cup contender). If Torres and Couture (who is obviously still hurt) get healthy for the playoffs, we should be okay. But right now, it doesn't look good. Hertl probably won't be back until the second round at the earliest.

I know it's probably best for the team in the long run to miss the play-offs so that something is done to change the team. But as a fan I still would rather see them in the play-offs then not.

But, this was the Leaf's only legit shot at the Stanley Cup right here. The Stanley Cup mysteriously follows this guy around wherever he goes. and when he gets stuck with an expansion team like the Blues he goes to the finals 3 years in a row.
