Much appreciated, KwarK. Got her plugged into Evemon, and started up. I assume any BB fits I slap together in EFT should include a bit of shields since it makes a target of itself?

Kwark forgot Gallente Drone Spec 2 and AWU4, Shield Op 5, and BC5 (which should be after 4'ing missile supports + drone stuff).

I was deliberately being damage oriented. Rifters can handle lock+point quickly enough most of the time, while they cannot fit the double Drake without a PG-4. Also, resistences.

So im coming back from dinner and people tell me theres a cloaky proteus in system. I decide to wait for it when i gem finds a dramiel on the belt. By the time i arrivee on the belt in my hookbill gem calls its on the sun, as well as the proteus. I warp there and immediately cal the whole fleet to warp there.
I land 2k from the proteus and scram it, the dramiel is 100km away. Fortunately hes stupid and tries to ram me, so i get the dramiel scram double webbed after we got secondary points on the proteus. I know have 8 drones and a dram shooting me, but my shield holds like a hero, the dram dies within seconds and together with the riffters we get rid of a few drones very quickly. The proteus cant hit me for shit so he dies shortly afterwards as well.
I like the cn hookbill!
Ninja edit: found a cane missioning and got me and 3 rifters on it. Gem comes back and although i clearly told him not to warp to us because werekilling cane he comes and whores on it(and steals the lasthit). I point him and kwark comes in to help. We ransom him for 50m and he pays up, so no drake loss that fight

I'd jumped through the gate from Gonheim literally a minute before and it was empty. I was stupid and presumed it to be the same when i jumped through again.
The beauty of the PvP nano fit drake is that it can actually mission in lowsec and look after itself. A drake, cyna, cane combo shouldn't be able to trap you. The correct way to play it was to jump back, get cynabal to point you on the far side by mwding out then immediately mwd back (cynabal always longpoints and you've got a lot of EHP, you can mess around). Jump back through, thus removing cynabal and possibly the cane from the equation. The drake is a non issue because you can outrun it, the cane is either armour and slow or shield and weak. Simply burn out overheating your mwd and put everything you've got on the cane (if it's actually here and didn't aggress you on the other side).
They only had one ship that was dangerous to you and you can keep jumping around until you know that it's not on the side you're on because they had no tackle.
That was the plan on the second side, although I saw an oppurtunity to warp out and tried to take it. By that point, My Cap was hovering in the low 30's (%) and between using the resists/mwd it burnt out before i got back to within ~10k of the gate.
I'll know next time, Learn by experience and all that jazz.
