With Clem retiring for the day, herO and MaxPax ended up contesting the PiGosaur title for the second week straight. herO looked like he might score his second upset of the week over the Danish Protoss, going up 2-0 early in the series. However,

While we typically don't cover showmatches, BASILISK Big Brain Bouts #80 was worth mentioning as it gave us a much-hyped match: Serral vs MaxPax in a best of five!

The recent teamplay revival continued with the uThermal 2v2 Cup, a planned series of monthly tournaments which will hopefully feed into a six-figure grand finals. Things started off with the January tournament, where the team of Spirit-MaxPax triumphed over Clem-Trigger in the finals.
Spirit-MaxPax's strategy of resource feeding for mass early-game Phoenixes proved to be too strong (something avid 2v2 players might have told you was inevitable), running over Clem-Trigger's more conventional play with its mobility (VOD).
