Its disgusting how many scammers there are in the world out there and even more terrible are the types of things they will go as far as to try and scam you for. After almost being scammed by one of these people I did some research and read that they will go as far as scamming for lost pets and other things of that nature. I just think thats terrible.

I would LOVE to do something like this, and utilize my heavy educated english insulting skills for something as trolltastic. Actually doing something good for society would be a huge bonus. i plan on starting up something like this and posting some of the lulz later on.

I use certain methods to sniff out fake banks (mostly I prefer banks as they are the easiest to prove fraudulent-ness, though I have killed the odd fake courier or whatnot)--though its entertaining finding methodologies that make this step go faster. Then I compile the evidence that they are fake and report them to their registrar/hoster. I have a Java template that I use for this. The other method of finding fake sites is via baiting. Often they will give you a fake site to input your account info into. Most of them are amateurish, but I've seen a VERY convincing Maltese bank faker. Oh, and if you are going to go into baiting, make sure you use accounts that don't have any personal details. 419Eater is pretty good for newbie advice too. We also have contacts for reporting scammer bank accounts.
