Alright, on the subject of clues, I talked to LSB, and he's allowed me to post this:
[7:37 PM] Kavdragon: Hey, can I ask a few questions about the clues? [7:37 PM] LSB: Sure [7:37 PM] Kavdragon: There's been a lot of confusion, so let me start a the basics. [7:39 PM] Kavdragon: Clues lead to people that have killed someone. [7:39 PM] LSB: Excluding the day one post [7:39 PM] LSB: and the exception made in day 3 [7:39 PM] LSB: yes [7:40 PM] Kavdragon: Clues that appear can appear anywhere. For instance, a clue could appear in the victims's description. [7:42 PM] LSB: yes clues can appear anywhere in the day post (excluding blue text) [7:42 PM] Kavdragon: The SK may, or may not have a clue leading to him following his kill. [7:43 PM] LSB: SK always has a clue leading to him following his kill [7:51 PM] Kavdragon: Right so, a better clue question, I'll ask about myself. [7:52 PM] Kavdragon: Could Train be a clue, in like....: He went to the gym to train for something" [7:52 PM] LSB: No comment [7:54 PM] LSB: A tip, if you can figure out what clues I wrote, and which one Node wrote, it could be useful
The highlights: Clues lead to people that have killed someone. Clues can appear anywhere in the day post (excluding blue text) SK always has a clue leading to him following his kill

always huh? hmm maybe hes already dead
|
We'll find that out through looking at the KP used at night, I guess.....
Plus, from the sound of it, one of the SK didn't submit a night action..... No guarantee on it, but it sounded like it imo.....

Thank you so much for clarifying this it makes clue interpretation more interesting to say the least. I also suggest we go back and check for non-text part of the posts if any (pictures and such, I dont remember if there were any or not)

What should the census be used for?
Mafia: Pro:Checks to see if we hit a scum in this lynch, or if SK hit one for whatever reason. Con:If we have lynched a townie, and I think that it's a fair possibility, we waste a chance to check something like Blue roles, or the number of SK
SK: Pro: We solidify a number for mafia KP. Con: We don't know if Nemesis is mafia.
Blues: Pro: Gives me a good idea of the balance of the game. Con: Town gains no more info, (As I wouldn't release the number), We don't know what Nemesis is.
Checking the number of SK's seems a bit odd, but shouldn't be underestimated. Knowing the exact number would be extremely helpful, and despite LSB soft claiming that there was 1 left, I wouldn't put it past him to play mind games with people who try to read into things too far. So we just don't know.

I say check mafia again. Anything other than that would be pretty suspicious.

Mafia again. We get so much more from it than other checks.
Knowing if we lynched a mafia, vig killed mafia, or SK killed mafia is so important. After two continuous check of 5 mafia, we get information about bandwagon and alignments.
|
yeah mafia, i agree. Getting a count on mafia allows us to associate correct clue to mafia connection. If a town was lynched, the clue that connects it to the other player is still open for lynch
|
Ok, cool. I agree, but wanted to leave all options open to the town. Oh, and best double check this now. I'd hate for us to discover this too late.
Just to be sure, If i get a report saying there are 5 mafia, then one of them dies, and I check again, it will return "4 mafia", correct? It's not the total number, including the dead?

It would be ridiculous and extremely humorous had we misinterpreted the census power from the start
|
Census. We don't count dead people in the census. I think that is how the US do it.
|
Right, it would be a much weaker power if it didn't work like that, but it's worth checking, right? I mean, if we are wrong, then....yeah. Bad stuff.
|
Correct, it would return 4 mafia
|
Cool. With that out of the way, I'll wait a little longer for dissenting voices, then turn in the request for Mafia.

I think we can get an idea of the KP of the mafia and how many SK there are (could be 1 or 2, possibly 0 if we got really lucky) by seeing how many people bite the dust tonight, and comparing it to the trends we've already seen in previous nights.
I don't see how knowing the number of SK being as important as knowing if we got a hit on the mafia or not - if we got it, we may be able to get a couple more in the next few days. If we wait a day to know, it may screw things up.....
At least, that's my thoughts on it.

I agree. I think more information is gained for us by knowing if we hit a mafia then trying to draw connections from that. Knowing the amount of SK is helpful, but it seems pretty likely based on the KP lately that it's either 1 or 0. And it's not so pertinent yet to need to know how many there are as opposed to how accurate our lynches are.

Night 3
The poster doesn't tell you anything about anybody’s alignment. It just shows how much you need to improve on your clue hunting.
The Sheeple went and lynched Nemesis. The Sheeple then went back and started munching on grass.
Baaaaa Baaaaa Baaaaa.
Nemesis is dead.
Sorry the post is late, got caught up with stuff at school. Send in your night actions, because inactivity ruins games!
