I like that you used the owning SC1 hydralisk in your chart.

I do not really understand making those rankings just because of your own oppinion (and results). Seems like its mostly just your own opinion and not really about the results in the past weeks. If you make it just for fun its fine, but those rankings aren't really correct.
Anyway, good job

There are a couple who do not compete too much in tournaments or some who even avoid ladder, i could name 1-2, zergs speicifially
Regarding the list, Cloud is probably too high, so is Demuslim compared to his achievments, but it's really not that big of a deal. Oh, lalush too
one more bit of a mistake: you put Kuba on the picture but write Tefel on the list, fix it
he is known as Tefel in ESL and other tours but Kuba in ladder - not too bad.
+ i pretty much play those "unkown good players / Zergs", but i cant mention them unless they prooved anything.
maybe next week!
€: forgot about nerchio on the right site, he is mentioned on the left though

UPDATE - Week 4 from 31.01.2011

Curious behind the reasoning of putting sjow below demu and nani when he just won go4sc2 and iem europe?
|
iem was the week before, but he recently lost more games then he should have. the ppl above him didnt even attend @ go4sc2
|
Insolence should be way higher he seems to be on fire right now - He won the last Competo Cup, he won the last Craft Cup and yesterday he won the monthly Go4Sc2 Finals, beating top players in all 3 tourneys.
|
yes, but you cannot make him win 10 ranks by showing good results for 2 weeks. if he does well the next tours as well, he will win ranks as well, but a bit of long time performance should be mentioned in every ranking. Same goes for DieStar - he constantly goes higher.

I thought the whole point of this was to rank players weekly based on subjective impression as opposed to those rankings like TLPD/GG.net where there is relatively slow dynamic. Then I didn't understand your OP right. I would find nothing wrong with a player who basically won 2 weekly and 1 monthly tournament in one week moving up 10 spots in a weekly rating. You should reconsider taking weekly form more into account.

its a mix of both, i wouldnt consider insolence any stronger than players above him atm.
|
added a poll. give me your thoughts!

Updated!
New leader: Reason for it being Jinro losing to SeleCt and SjoW, Demuslim showing great performances in ladder, beating almost anyone with 85% winratio (before his accident).
Added: Black Lines that stand for skillgaps / mark players on almost one level. Especially between #18 and #29 its hard to point out huge differences atm.
Deleted the Poll, since it was pretty much senseless.
