Well for every Turbovolver, there's a disciple: A collection of T1 fan posts, which get the games from the 3-0 series completely wrong. They give a lot less credit to Stork's play in the finals than I give to Fantasy, and I've been a vocal Fantasy anti-fan in all related threads. Indeed, I was a fantasy anti-fan before I was even a Stork fan. + Show Spoiler + a terribly disappointing showing from Stork stork getting humiliated lol Stork didn't put up a fight at all what a disappointment. Stork, honestly? Where did you go? Is that a bad clone playing because I don't believe how you can just lay the biggest egg in your life. I'll be generous and leave out all the comments about silver mining, and the guy who said that Stork's gf ate his homework before breaking up with him (???) I guess this is valid though, because the result was 3-0, and as you say, results are all that matter? Do you truly believe that? I know I myself have a lot more passion for starcraft than just looking at the numbers. Indeed, this is the very attitude I rally against. Whether it's the Flash fans who only like him because he's on top, the Savior fanboys living in the past, the people who cling to Stork and Bisu solely because they are the performing protosses... These people don't watch and enjoy BroodWar, they just like belonging to the "winning" group. When Stork was on top a while ago, getting to finals vs Flash in GOM and OSL, I was just getting into Starcraft, and I actively disliked him! Stork was outplayed solidly by Fantasy in game 3. In game 1 and 2, he was outplayed before the games even started, if you ask me. As two individual players, I think Stork is stronger than Fantasy, and ELO agrees. So yeah, I will say Stork > Fantasy. And I'll feel it. What are you trying to say? Stork is quite possibly the most famous choker in BW, not that a comeback in Bo5 is smth you see every day, but Stork never did one, never was even close to doing one. Do you anywhere in my statement see that fantasy is the better player of both ? Or that stork is a terrible player? Not being able to deal with mental pressure is as much part of you character as it is of your players profile. The beatup Stork got in game 3 yesterday was only logical, because of the shock he was how good his build were figure out and how outplayed he was in the first two games. You can make the obvious parallel between his match with fantasy and savior vs Bisu, where MJY just resigned any sort of resistance in game 3 and played by default, which only made the strong points of Bisu's play that day even more obvious.

Last night, Fanta got 2 build order wins and then a dismantling in game 3 that looked like Stork never even practiced vs dropship play. Today, Stork made a counter to Fantasy's retarded blind anti-shuttle build and handily crushed him. It showed simply that Stork is the superior player and should have had the balls to switch up his play rather than rely on the same stupid build just because it won him games. It's a classic case of Stork arrogance thinking he's so far superior that he doesn't need to innovate to win. It's why he's a constant silver medalist. If you look at Stork's thought process during his Incruit OSL run, he was totally different. He explicitly stated that he was going to switch things up and try to play mind games and surprise his opponent because those are essential ingredients to winning a bo5. For some inexplicable reason, he forgot that yesterday. You're funny. You give Stork credit for making a build that counters Fantasy's build, but then you don't give Fantasy the credit for doing it to Stork. Also, to the whole "playing cellphone games all night and still deliver". Oh please, I don't believe half the crap they say in the interviews. And if he plays cellphone games all night, then that is not a skill, it is pathetic imo, weak preparation and smacktalk. Eternal Second. All that matters to me is that Fantasy delivered in the OSL Finals and Stork didn't. Today it was the opposite.

Bisu is too shy to brag about unlike Shine who said that loss to his teammate in OSL group stage was a good thing and made it sound like a win giveaway to make em both advance and then got eliminated by his same teammate. This sounds exactly like a soup opera

Yep with his builds Maybe you're right but for me it's a good thing to see him lose today (1st time I'm saying this about Bisu btw) and I blindly assume Bisu subconsciously helped his good ol' friend even if it's not true it's a cool thing anyway. Sure not taking anything away from Stork.

But dude, ive been a flash fan even before he won vs stork in the gomtv finals. Ive been a bisu fan since he beat savior and cheered for him during his slump. but cos i think the results fanta>stork do matter, does this make me just wanting to belong to the "winning" group, does that mean i have no real passion? wtf man, that doesnt make sense and results do matter before flash was godlike, sea and him were probably the best terrans, but they achieved nothing. flash was able to eventually get over his nerves and when he did he dominated whereas the same cannot be said about sea, so having good nerves is part of being a good player. if stork cant master his nerves then he doesnt deserve to win even if he is the "better" player (im not saying nerves was the only reason he lost) did july beating best and obtaining the golden mouse mean nothing because he had an easy route? because best was the overall "better" player? you see, results do matter, but that doesnt mean we are passionless about the game dude. whether you believe stork>fantasy or not (or maybe you just keep repeating it so it hurts less), the fact is, he didnt when he needed too. so why are you trying to deprive fantasy fans from their victory and btw, im not a "fan" of either player, but i watched it hoping for epic games. although it didnt happen, fantasy played beautifully, especially in game 3, that was just art

Ow wait, why I'm even responce for so ridiculus statement? After yesterday Stork's fanboys are not in possition to make any uncomical statements untill he will outplay fantasy in BoX again. Today loss not changing much. Wait, it doesnt change anything. Just proves that Stork is capable of beating Fantasy...huh...as nobody even know that.

And on BeSt too, who's supposed to have great PvP. As for the Stork vs. FanTaSy: I'm not too concerned. I'd rather have a silver mouse than an OSL Win, cuz this way there is zero pressure on me.
