Also, to the whole "playing cellphone games all night and still deliver". Oh please, I don't believe half the crap they say in the interviews. And if he plays cellphone games all night, then that is not a skill, it is pathetic imo, weak preparation and smacktalk. Eternal Second. All that matters to me is that Fantasy delivered in the OSL Finals and Stork didn't. Today it was the opposite. Eternal second, except when Stork won the gold over Fantasy's crumpled body? Right.

LOL, I was reverse trolling okum becouse he is good known SKT hater, and i writen this to make him angree. And I dont have anything against Effort (maybe only this broken-mouse incident) and Flash (who was indeed beaten by being predictable) lolol, i didn't know that he's a skt1 hater :D I personally prefer creative players like Fantasy or ZeRo (or great lol) over standard players such as Flash or Stork. But to win something, you must, well, combine these skills. I suppose Jaedong for example can be one of the players who can combine these skills. haha I see the little OZ icon, well said!

All of this matters when judging a player. It's hard things to master, and if stork can't do that well enough he's not clearly the superior player. Obviously both Flash and Jaedong has the ability to combine these things, as you yourself explain in that bolded statement.

Stork has the strategies and timings, he is the commander. Bisu has the apm and revolutionized the PvZ, he is the beesuit. But it is funny watching everyone argue about how Bisu is the greatest protoss ever but Stork just beat him!! Man toss is the best ever. Please end these frivolous discussions. He is the genesis, hope, future, and everlasting presence in the halls of Auir. There are the six protoss dragons or whatevers that fight the horde of zergs and the menace of the terran. There is but one man that stands alone against coming darkness, one man that stares into the abyss and tame the evil that lurks within it. One man that sends one shuttle against the impenetrable curtain of seige tanks, sends outnumbered dragoons against other protoss enemies, and one man that does not need high templars to defeat the swarm. Reach.... I salute you.

It's funny how little faith even the most die-hard stork fans are showing, especially in his best match-up. I have always thought, ever since getting over his mini-slump a year ago, that Stork had been the better player ( this coming from a long time fantasy fan). Those of you rooting for the mechanically better player, is it so hard to believe that other players, those who aren't as technically sound, but dedicate time to creative strategies, counter-builds and better preparation, can be just as good? Is Starcraft only about raw skill, and everything else negligible? Then I recommend switching to Flash now before another minor set-back like getting sweeped by a lesser player. oh wait nvm, I had trolls confused with actual fans.

On January 30 2011 19:19 Turbovolver wrote: OK, so here you say "Fantasy fans are not saying that Fantasy > Stork". Well for every Turbovolver, there's a disciple: A collection of T1 fan posts, which get the games from the 3-0 series completely wrong. They give a lot less credit to Stork's play in the finals than I give to Fantasy, and I've been a vocal Fantasy anti-fan in all related threads. Indeed, I was a fantasy anti-fan before I was even a Stork fan. + Show Spoiler + a terribly disappointing showing from Stork stork getting humiliated lol Stork didn't put up a fight at all what a disappointment. Stork, honestly? Where did you go? Is that a bad clone playing because I don't believe how you can just lay the biggest egg in your life. I'll be generous and leave out all the comments about silver mining, and the guy who said that Stork's gf ate his homework before breaking up with him (???) I guess this is valid though, because the result was 3-0, and as you say, results are all that matter? Do you truly believe that? I know I myself have a lot more passion for starcraft than just looking at the numbers. Indeed, this is the very attitude I rally against. Whether it's the Flash fans who only like him because he's on top, the Savior fanboys living in the past, the people who cling to Stork and Bisu solely because they are the performing protosses... These people don't watch and enjoy BroodWar, they just like belonging to the "winning" group. When Stork was on top a while ago, getting to finals vs Flash in GOM and OSL, I was just getting into Starcraft, and I actively disliked him! Stork was outplayed solidly by Fantasy in game 3. In game 1 and 2, he was outplayed before the games even started, if you ask me. As two individual players, I think Stork is stronger than Fantasy, and ELO agrees. So yeah, I will say Stork > Fantasy. And I'll feel it. First of all I want to say thanks for toning it down and speaking clearly (I really disliked your previous posts). My initial reaction to the posts regarding Stork is that they're simply reacting to what happened, which is Stork getting 0-3ed in a very poor showing. It's typical that these kind of posts would show up, mostly importantly, from EITHER side of the fanbases. On the other hand, what would drive certain people to argue with Fantasy fans? I can't speak for everyone out there but to me it seemed like bitterness and anger. It just seems so unreasonable to tear down what Fantasy has accomplished and also what his fans have enjoyed because their favorite player lost. Nothing between Fantasy and Stork, between Fantasy fans and Stork fans, should come to arguing (about whatever it is that has been discussed). When I say that results are all that matter, I'm saying that there is no point in posts like "Fantasy is nothing without his vultures" or "He only won because of _________". It's not about the IF THIS or IF THAT, what has happened has happened. And what is the purpose of these posts other than to appease ones own frustration? All it does is anger other people and create arguments. Just imagine yourself in that 100m sprint scenario that I mentioned. Would you really go up to someone you know after the race and say something like that? All you would be is a butthurt kid that can't accept a loss. I can understand that feeling of frustration but to let it get to the point where you would have to appease your frustration by bringing down other people is pathetic, and it's a very poor way of going about. It's an important thing in life to learn how to deal with rough times because guess what, we're not perfect and things are going to happen that we don't like. I know I'm kind of dramatizing everything but it's just the way I see it. I'm sure you can see the comedy in comparing your own efforts not being enough to beat a competitor and the efforts of your favorite player not being able to beat his competitor. Also, it's clear that internet anonymity has a HUGE impact on how people speak to others or act on this forum, even me. But sometimes I feel like we all just need to step back and really read what we're about to post. Would you be caught saying the same things to your friends in "real" life? PS: Some of these things might not apply to you, it's just a general post towards anyone who might feel like it is. Also if anything angers you or is insulting to you, I really don't mean it that way. Let's talk it out instead of arguing. PPS: I think I might not have addressed everything that you talked about...
