IMHO his play isn't even great and really gives credit to the argument made by sc1 elitists that sc2 is just hyper aggro donk silly and easy. It would of been terrible for sc2 if a kid with nothing past the 10 minute mark going for him (except for in games where he already did mega damage with his early cheese) won it all. At least for people with insight into what the game COULD be rather than this all-in 1 base garbage. I mean look at this series..it went 7 rounds and we didnt see one late -dynamic -huge decision making- apm game . You know the type of games that makes people see SC as a game of insane skill and draws in spectators to it as an e-sport. The type of games that monsters like Nada bust out and just make your jaw drop. Good Riddance to bad rubbish. Yeah that rubbish managed to get to second place in the worlds biggest sc2 tournement managing to knock out the 2 best players from last season while taking games off all races and. just LOL at the hate. The guy is 17 and he will be around for a long time so maybe you needed to calm down a little.

I was scared for Tea for a minute, but when he got that surround I was facepalming FoxeR.. Workers are noticeably faster than unstimmed marines.

I agree, marine 1Aing their way to victory is simply not what I, as a spectator, wants to see.

Wow, that's pretty ignorant, try "marine 1Aing" vs a zerg and see how long you're gonna last. The reason why boxer and his marine micro/spread is so appreciated is because it's damn hard to pull off right.

We saw this in every single game: Games Foxer was very aggressive on: Shakuras (2rax scvs): win Lost Temple (thor drop rush): win Steppes (1rax bunker wall): win Metal (2rax scvs): loss Games Foxer tried to macro on: Scrap Station (fast +2/2 FE): loss (got outmacroed and then busted) Xel naga: (fast expand): loss (had 10 less workers by like 8 minutes) (I'm forgetting a game, someone help me out here) Hopefully this helps people understand why Foxer tried to be hyper-aggressive in the 7th game and not just get another macro loss. From a spectator perspective, the whole thing really needs to be reworked. SCV + Marine allining at 4 minutes shouldn't be the most successful strat at high level play.

"First of all I'd like to say I have a great respect for NesTea not just because he won the tournament but because this guy had the courage to do what he wanted to do and proved he was right.I'm saying this because too many people even in Korea consider playing games is a waste of time.I, myself, was unemployed for 2 years *laughs*, bout a year and a half before I joined GOM.All I did was play games at home and my friends would say that I'm wasting my life.Well...uhm..who's laughing now ?. I asked them " Can you honestly say that you like your job " and I asked them " Do you have a fan who draws a fanart just for you ? ". That shuts them up. So everytime you feel ashamed of being a nerd and your friends, teachers, neighbours and even parents think gaming is a waste of time you'll remember there's no such thing as wasting life as long as you have the courage to do what you like and be passionate about it.You'll remember , if NesTea listened to all those critics he wouldn't be standing there with a trophy and you'll remember that even if you feel nobody around you supports you that I, Jay, Artosis and Tasteless, everyone in GOM will support you.Why ? Because we believe in esports."

It's nice to see people like bongboy here do it, but be realistic.

Imo game 7 shows the actions of a guy utterly convinced he is about to build order win against his opponent, not for fear of out macro or whatever, he sees the hatch first and is convinced he has a freewin. Probably would've been the case too if he hadn't bollocksed up his micro, make no mistake letting the marines get isolated and picked off is an error on his part regardless of how well NesTea did. All in all though season 2 was better by far than season 1, from the extra games in the QFs to the general higher standard overall. Tastless, Artosis and John have all been improving and I will definitely be subscribing for season 3. I really do feel the HQ to Europe needs to be fixed urgently, I couldn't watch anything in HQ, vods/livesteams this season, and easily have the bandwidth. Can't put up with that forever.
