He wants to find the new talent which imo would be better for the long term. Limiting good players (current or future) will never be "better" if you want to create the best team possible. (Clearly that's not his intention, though) -- Aww, he missed the chance to call it srs.

So there's no point of having high rating requirements, he won't be able to find anyone!

Slayers and sls are taken, but SlayersClan.com, etc. is not. Now we wait and see who buys up all the slayers/sls domain related names and tries to make boxer pay them $10,000. Hmmm, now that I think of it, maybe I can sell my web design services to Boxer...

I thought there were thousands of players above 1800. Or maybe I'm just not looking at sc2ranks in the right way... hmm, the rankings might be clouding my mind from the real numbers. After all it seems as if everyone is 1800+ on TL with the way people boast about it.

Now all he has to do is to get FoxeR on the team. + Show Spoiler + On November 06 2010 05:17 AlgeriaT wrote: Ok, so I'm pretty crushed that BoxeR got rofflestomped by NesTea and is out. On the other hand, honestly I never expected him to get even this far. AND what a revenge match coming up - FoxeR now has the chance to shove a fat load of stim down that filthy zerg's throat and avenge his hero!!! FoxeR defends BoxeR's honor, becomes his protegé, gets hired on the new SlayerS team - and then they rule the universe as father and son and come back in GSL3 and just mop everything up together. Gonna be awesome tbh

SC2 still hasn't reached original SCBW levels in Korea. Meaning... there are a lot of Oov/Nada/Boxer/Yellow/JD/Flash v2.0's out there, not yet harnessed. They're not going to be 1800+ in Korea, because they've JUST started picking up the game because of Boxer & Nada. In other words... there are a ton of UNBELIEVABLY talented koreans scaling the ladder right now, and some of the best haven't gotten near the top yet. I think this is a smart decision by Boxer... have a TON of "SlayerS"s floating around, let them improve, and then at the end, form a team out of the top. Then all the SlayerS clan members will strive to be in that team... and as everyone keeps saying, maybe the next Oov will be there someday.

1800 is not even close to being a korean pro, and will never be.
